As mentioned before, it would be worth looking into having LISA meetings in different venues around Leigh & Atherton etc. Boozers would be queueing up I'm sure to stage the meetings considering how difficult it is to get punters in nowadays, especially during the week.

Not many drinkers in LISA they are al like 24.7 pint of water (tap) men

I don't have a beer at LISA meetings because a) at HP it was CARP b) at Legends it was expensive c) at East - well I dont drink beer before about 10.30 anyway

Good Idea.. And considering Wayne at 'Our House' pub is a Leigh fanatic offering LISA members drinks discounts,free transport to LSV on home games and free food for all supporters upon return from away games,then why don't LISA return the gesture with the next meeting held at his pub...........

if thats what the members want then thats fine by me, AS LIKE U SAY Wayne has done lots for us ,also the AVE HAVE OFFERED TOO.

I notice the Reserves have rearranged a home game with Barrow for 10th June with a 7-30pm start...

Not that I can make the LISA meeting or the Reserve game...

Lets reward the Avenue & Our House by having the next meetings there. Get them to put up posters advertising the meeting + future fixtures. Tie up with the club and offer a few freebies. Maybe more will be interested in offering their premises in future. It's all about geting the town involved.

if you want to spread the word of L.I.S.A why not ave meetings in different pubs n clubs around leigh instead of avin to go to east??

ave a L.I.S.A roadshow there are enough venues around leigh even ask clubs to donate prizes to raffles [spirits,wine,beer.

i bet you could easily fill a yearly rota.
