The only reason Salford,wakey,cas are suddenly in the press re the stadiums is because the RFL are visiting said clubs to monitor the progress of their lies, sorry promises. Although Wakeys looks the more likely

If you mean the most likely to be built, I was under the impression that Cas were at a more advanced stage in terms of funding etc? |

...and after the disruption that club has had to put up with I for one hope it happens for them and they remain in Super League. Not too fagged about Salford, Cas,KR, CC, Stains etc...

I personally don't think so. If some teams are not erecting the structure of their stadium come mid 2011 when the franchises are being decided they will be in trouble.
I still think Cas's looks the most likely to be built, Wakey might have started building then but at the moment to me it looks like Salford won't even have started construction by mid 2011. |

The blinkin things should be completed - they've all had ample time to sort them out, and using the "credit crunch" card does not wash with me - they should have dealt with the situation earlier. |

Those clubs will not be overly concerned IMO. The new stadium criteria will inevitably be relaxed by the RFL due to unforseen circumstances.

| I can't see any in place SL clubs being relegated on that issue they could threaten court action on retraint of trade etc.. then watch the RFL back off.  |

| Ahh but I thought one the conditions of being allowed to apply for a franchise (theoretically all clubs have to) was that you couldn't appeal or take action against any decision arrived at........and they all agreed including Leigh Widnes etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also understand the RFL spent longer looking around Salfords new stadium than they did the LSV |
