I was thinking the worst, welcome back.

It wasnt the best rugby, but the ref didnt help that did he.
We wanted it more, Webster was ordinary and looks uninterested.
Dorans still a penalty machine, and knocks on regular, although he was the second best player for us last year, he finished second to Jock in the fans Player of the Year.

I don't think Fax will walk it at all they look the best at the moment but nowts won in April!

Correct, Fletcher/Kohe Love/Bannister are 3 huge losses for us and are now all returning which will give us a major boost. We also have Lee Paterson and Danny Mills and Iain Morrison to come yet who we also havent seen.


I do however fancy Barrow at the moment to be in either of the grand finals.

If we're that bad then the future looks bright! It's a marathon not a sprint and we'll get better as the season goes on.

You may be right but i'm sure you will see us get some players back and some quality additions towards the crunch end of the season!!!

Lee Marsh is totally unfit and Watson is just going through the motions, your best was Chris Hill and Stanton IMO the rest were very poor.

The 500 travelling friends also made some very good noise at times.

Chris Hill was excellent, by far the best forward on the pitch.

As said, it's a marathon....the year Cas went up we started the season on fire and won the National Rail Cup, after that we fell apart towards the end and never looked the same team again. Long way to go yet.

The rugby on display wasn't the best but the entertainment was top notch. You seemed to have signed another 'over the hill' Aussie in Webster, he just seems happy to link the play rather than actually do anything. Where was TKL, thought he was supposed to be playing?

I thought that Ostick went well for you guys, took the ball well and made some good yards.

The problem with Webster is that he has no runners with him half the time, give him space and he'll do the business but without runners he's not going to be given any.

Ostick has been playing like that all year. Infact our best players this season we playing reserve rugby last year in Ostick, Flynn and Yates.

Thank God VM reared his ugly head, any longer and he would have looked an even bigger muppet. TKL is a waste of space and no I do not support Leigh. 1 or 2 old heads usually forwards or a halfback but outside backs when they are past it they are just that.

Lets not forget it was only a couple of weeks back we were complaining about getting beat by batley so we're not getting carried away by one win at widnes...good though isn't it.

Aw VM welcome back I've missed you. In fact this forum would be lost without you and I'm thinking of instructing the team to throw the game the next time we play you - we don't want you to go missing again!
