If this thread has been referred to previously - apologies.
Did you know that on Friday at Wakefield - ALL Wakefield Season Ticket holders will be admitted Free of Charge.
Leigh Season Ticket holders (Adults) will have to pay, although the Junior Season Ticket holders will get in free.
Reason: All Clubs agreed in early March that for the 4th round of the Cup ALL SUPER LEAGUE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS will be admitted FOC - this decision did not extend to Championship sides - Can anyone tell me why ?

The championship teams agreed to do it in the 3rd round.
So after the 4th round every team from SL and Championships will have had free entrance to one CC game.

If Leeds were at home to Rochdale (say), and there were 10000 on of which 9500 were season ticket holders, then Rochdale would barely get a penny from the gate?
Kind of puts to bed the idea that a good cup draw away to one of the big teams is a waste of time. |

I'd think that would be how it works, as you say season ticket holders don't really get a 'free' game it's just included in the original price. |
