I just thought I'd let you know that the first two interviews are now online and can be listened to here.
The first recording is Alex talking about his arrival at Leigh, his fall out with Saints and his plans for the future.
The second recording Alex talks about the signing of each player, they're not in any particular order but he does mention each player.

I have listened to some of the Alex stuff and it's great.
I was amazed by the whole site. I loved the stuff on Alfred Watts, who I know, and the pictures which showed the two houses in Bedford where I spent most of my life.

Really enjoyed these Mishmash, I was lucky enough to watch Leigh through the whole of Alex's reign.
It was interesting on the 2nd tape Alex saying that ball handling made up 90% of the team skills training. Modern rugby league has replaced this with 90% 'grunt' in my opinion.
I really look forward to the next instalment. Keep up the good work!

good stuff mish, do you know my dad wanted to call my youngest brother Alex after the one and only, Mum wouldnt let him, so he shares his anme with Mr Rowley Senior, the two best managers in my lifetime one in footie and one in rugby share the name Alex, my nephew who lives in London and is named after them both.
