THe next meeting will be held at "the Legends " bars at the new stadium on WED April 8th at 7.45 pm start. Guests etc will follow, I am hoping to have someone form the Community Dept and Gary Eccleston down to this but will let everyone know soon.

They could help raise the clubs profile if handled right

Perhaps someone could ask Hannah if she and the rest of the community will be wearing red at the TV game?
And can she please arrange for Arty to give out 200 donated glow sticks to the kids at the same game?

I thought we were on about asking Hannah about wearing Red and glow sticks, but if you're referring to the excellent work they do, then I can understand people being surprised when they find out.

What they do is excellent, they'll be there today at LSV working with the kids, in my opinion the only thing that lets them down and this is somewhat confirmed by LISA members being surprised is publicising their good work.

But advertising/promotions etc is a problem throughout the club not just the community department, which in all fairness, I feel the Community Department is getting better at, Ryan emails me and about 15 others info/posters regularly, some of which I post on here for them, the girls put the posters up at schools and Keith puts them up at East, hopefully someone does the same at Miners/Golbourne/Westhoughton.

We have an excellent Community Department, and should be promoting Leigh as a Community Club.

Ryan works fulltime in Bolton area, and is doing a wonderful job, as are all the staff.
Bet a lot of fans dont actually realise how many kids go through our Community Dept in a year. Its in the thousand BTW>
