wondering what he is up to now.

Last time i had an e mail from Paul he was on the Gold Coast in Oz running 2 busineses and wasnt in Rugby League, that was about 14 months ago.

1 of his businesses is stocking up all the bars with crisps and nuts etc

Wasnt he the chap who used to make the Leigh players do weights at half time?




And who can forget the classic 'Noooorrrrrrrmmmmmmaaaaaannnnnn'






Was totally gutted when we kicked your ass at HP.

nah he was the one that took the leigh players in the gym at hilton park at half time and why not that was one of the coldest places ever

you had to go outside to get a warm lol

He did all kinds of different approaches at halftime.

Paul was an innovator and for me RL is a poorer sport without his involvement.

Some players may not have liked his style of training, also training the mundane stuff but it worked and he was incredibly unlucky that in the 2 yrs following the 2001 play-off loss to Widnes, Leigh came up against fulltime opposition in Huddersfield and Salford.

That in itself is like going into a boxing ring against Amir Khan with bootlaces tied together.

if you are going to use a boxer as an example, at least pick a good 'un

I agree. It's a pity he never had the luxuary of taking charge of a F/T Leigh squad as in 2005/2006. IMO an opportunity he would have relished and prospered in.

Also he wouldnt have lost the dressing room.

Played some bloody good rugby under Paul. He was unlucky 2001 and we were never going to topple full time Huddersfield and Salford in 2002 and 2003.

we were an extremely well organised unit under paul terzis and we used to get good crowds to watch his brand of rugby

A great person both on and off the field was Turk.

Paul should have taken us up twice and failed, if he had we would be in SL now. The following years he was urinating against the wind due to FT opponents.
He would have been a better bet in SL than sulkychops.

I remember a certain ex player of ours - no names but he's now french coach - telling me 'he couldn't teach me anything' - nuff said
