The Leigh fans have always rallied to back the team and DB but to do this we need to know what is happening. At this point it looks like we will have a team cobbled together from champ players who can’t get contracts elsewhere and poss SL club academy players. Are we looking at dual ref to aid us. At the point looks like best we can hope next season is to stay in championship! Please RLFC DB give us a clue what us happening. All the endless speculation is very negative and frustrating.

Jack Hansen as resigned for Swinton instead of coming to us

Andy Mazey and Stu Littler seem to be doing a sterling job at Swinton,building the team spirit and getting ready for next season, I would have loved to seen them do this job at Leigh.

If our ambition is to emulate Swinton then we really are going backwards at an alarming rate. Remember they would have been relegated had the RFL not changed the format for next season at the last minute. They have to beg for Leigh fans to come and watch them to boost their gates as the town of Swinton doesn’t engage with the sport anymore.

It seems to me that Charlie's disillusionment is sadly firmly the thought process of the majority but not as you say of the current team - whatever that is - but the much bigger entity that is Leigh Centurions Rugby League Football Club.

Col,I'm a Leigh supporter first, and a Rugby supporter second,always will be, I have been to watch Swinton a couple of times this last season,and regard Andy Mazey as a friend.You are right I'm very disallusioned at the moment with our Clubs present state,but nothing would make me follow another team.
What I said was I wished Andy Mazey and Stu Littler was at Leigh,because I admire their vision for Swinton in the future,I never said I would support Swinton.As for how Swinton have survived this season,I realise it was due to a change get in circumstances ,a way we ourselves once survived a few years ago.Next season we could find ourselves below Swinton in the Championship, and that's no disrespect to Swinton.
Getting back to our Club, I don't think anyone can say I'm not a Supporter,I've been a season ticket holder now for a few years,however in its present state I'm very frustrated and angry at how we Fans are being kept in the dark,yet the Club keeps telling us to buy Season tickets, subscribe to Centurions TV and LISA, and get Club merchandise at the Market Stall,all these things are not very appealing in the present situation.

IF ,when whoever takes over convinces me things at the Club are worth Supporting then I will do so, at the present, I feel so disappointed.

I think you have perfectly summed up the feelings of many, there - certainly mine, at any rate.

Some folks tell us "we've been here before", and we have, but I, for one, am getting sick and fed up of "being here", clawing our way out and then sliding back in!

Not sure anyone realistically thinks it's rosey, but some people seem to think there should be daily updates on what's happening. Frustrating as it is I'm pretty sure there is a lot of activity going on behind the scenes.

We are currently in the recruiting process, quite probably people already signed up for next season.

Col, for my sins I love a bet on the Horses, some say I will follow John Gosden and Nick Henderson (Horse Trainers)down a blind alley in the dark to back their horses,and probably right.Next season hopefully my hunger for the great game and Leigh Centurions will be as strong as ever.
My point being, yeah Im very disappointed at the moment, but I feel I'm entitled to voice my opinion about this without folk having a go, just because I have the Audacity to have a different opinion to theirs.
