1 year contract doesn't worry me. He will want to shine to ensure a best offer next season (be it from NRL or hopefully us in SL). This guy will spark the attack from the play the ball and it releases Mortimer to play in the halfs' where he will be killer at champ level.

My personal opinion of most of the overseas players this season are using leigh as a stepping stone in their career to get better things but I’m happy with them to do this as long it gets us back in the SL players come and go that’s the game we are in.

Spot on, pretty much everyone we have signed will be hungry and looking to prove a point to someone in some way. That will do nothing but bring enthusiasm and competitiveness to the squad.
Whether they stay at Leigh or not remains to be seen, but whilst here they will be giving there all - and not just the quota players

Well at least 3 coaches don't see him as a SL half back, certainly don't see him getting a starting gig with them in that position. In fact, considering the FB and wingers they have, other than a squad player, it's difficult to see where he fits in at all.

Anyhooose, good luck to the lad, seemed to have his issues last season - let's hope another fresh start sees him enjoying his rugby again

Vancouver Leyther I didn't realise there was a height and weight restriction, I remember the giant Kevin Sinfield playing in that position for Leeds and Great Britain for a few years. (1 stone heavier and a couple of inches taller)

McNally for me was nowhere near a good SL player,he would be a good Championship player for some Club, but we must be looking to be in SL again as soon as possible and McNally would be surplus to requirements.Good signing maybe for Fev, Fax or even Toronto.

I personally have never changed my opinion of McNally and, his individual try against top four Salford in our last SL match at the LSV, was the best and classiest long range try I saw from any SL fullback last season, including Shaul and Hardaker !
I believe Leigh are making a huge mistake in not retaining Gregg and, if their decision is based on KCs observation of him then I can only say, Keiron , you've not seen enough of him!
