as he is a very positive thinker,I think whatever happens at the end of the season and before the start of next season we will sort things out , with a squad more than capable of holding its own in the Championship.
For me we are a viable investment for whoever decides to come forward, after all getting bigger crowds than Salford and Widnes, it isn't all doom and gloom, come back Maurice all is forgiven.

It would appear from FB that CEO Matthew Chantler has painted a picture as bleak as Yorkshire's Happy Valley !

Great! In my simple mind, there have to be benefits to LSV (& Wigan Council) to having a Leigh sporting presence at LEIGH Sports Village!

I realise Alan that a move to Atherton wouldn't be good, I've never been to the ground , but I'm sure they couldn't cater for 2000-2500,though I've never seen the facilities.I'm still expecting to be at the LSV next season.

Well you would think so , but sometimes you have to wonder if they give a jot , if the worst case scenario was to unfold then perhaps a season in League 1 playing out of the ' Colliers ' would focus some minds

Athy Colls or LR would be a disaster, a start but a very bleak start, I would expect only 1,000 of the most hardened supporters to survive that move !

It has ben established that LSV have previously only charged the club for match stewarding during previous times of financial hardship, especially after Arthur left, basically playing rent free.

LSV and Mr Toone are aware that the club is in a very precarious financial position again and understand the importance of this town's Rugby League team remaining in it as its anchor tennants, ie it is ultimately used for what it was built for. Leigh RL

The CEO confirmed that there has been interest. He believes the business is salable. However its current liabilities , including a law suit against the club issued due to the the MPG aftermath is proving a risk to investors. Even if the club believes its case is water tight.

Hope that's not from the same person that thought Jamie Acton had grounds for appeal last year.

Or that persuaded McNally to plead guilty to shoving the ref at Salford!

Well the Club and the RFL believe their case is water tight.

On the subject of potential new investors , a multi millionaires lovely nice Jaguar has been parked up outside the LSV this week. It may or may not add credence to 'Atomics' interesting posts regarding the club and stadium purchase.

I thought I would just throw that in here.

God forbid it were to happen but if we were to move out of LSV we’d possibly never return and become the next Swinton playing here there and everywhere, with forever dwindling crowds.

As for the ‘water tight’ case it may be in the contracts, written in the RFL rules etc but the problem as I see it, is unless there is a precedent then there’s no such a thing, it was the same in football prior to the Bosman ruling.

Lets hope the Jaguar driver doesn’t get a parking ticket.

Hope this is untrue. We need to stay at LSV this is our home! If true DB has left us in a poorer position than when he got involved and all the money put in has been wasted. What about the custodianship that DB has spoken about? If this happens his legacy will the mess he left us on not the great teams and achievements we have had over the past years.

That echoes my thoughts exactly. However, I would be surprised if our current owner would want to be remembered for such a disaster!

The trouble is we don't know what is going on and rumours are just that. Would be good if LSV could reassure us as to any future tenancy, but suppose they are still salivating over the Utd Women attendance.

Reassure us over what ? , they do want us yes , but they will also charge whatever they want to given our circumstances at any given time

Would ' they ' sit down and look at ways they could help us either reduce costs or increase our fan base ? , doubtful

The LSV was built for us as a replacement for Hilton Park. Whatever league we are in we are at n we should play at the LSV... have Bradford moved from Odsal, no because it is their home. If we are forced out of the LSV it is not fulfilling its responsibility to the town and should be boycotted.
