LISA will be selling this deal which is open to all supporters. Cost will 100 Pounds (80 pounds for Concessions) and for every coach that is filled,
LISA will receive 1000 pounds from the RFL .

I havent read the 5 pages but this is the beginning of the 1k club and fantastic news for the future of the club.
The McCauls are great lads, especially Sean, and have fantastic connections throughout the area as well as serious personal wealth.
Sean used to be a major contributor to LISA when we set it up and this should be looked at as great news for our club.

Maybe its time for a revamp of LISA to fall in line with this new scheme??

Leave LISA as it is and leave these lads to do what they wish to do, last thing this set up needs is loads of whingeing fans clueless about how the commercial world works asking about fast wingers and big props.

Well i dont care what perks they recieve or anybody else for that matter ,all i'm bothered about is the money they have GENEROUSLY given/giving ,they can have a free lunch ,season tickets anything just dont care .Why is it some people always have to find negativety in everything,this is a great thing these business men are doing so try and have positive thoughts for a change.

I would suggest that they would get a tangible return of around £ 400 each in either ticketing , corporate , sponsorship or merchandise at cost price

Leaving £ 600 profit for the club each

The target then is 100 of them but done in stages , 10 , 20 ,50 up to the target of 100 I dont suggest that this is done by contact from the club to the business but by business to business contact

After speaking To Allan Rowley after todays reserve game he clarrified a couple of points to me,
first the money raised by the 'corporate club' (my words not his) is only to go towards team strengthening and team matters, Allan is hoping that the take up of 'membership' will grow as people hear more and more about it and he is always willing to speak to businesses to explain the venture in full,
second the £25 per month is only a starting figure and is aimed at the small business and it is hoped that bigger businesses would put more into the 'scheme' than £25 per month, but no pressure will be put on anyone,
third as for the 'perks' that would be open to discussion with the individuals concerned,
fourth I asked is this the start of Mr Thomas pulling out or taking more of a back step he said that wasn't the case, he stated that 'I'm very excited at the prospect of these initial five members involvement and all of them had put in a 'substantial sum' to start the scheme going, all are not only successful businessmen but true Leigh centurions supporters who are willing to back the club with this cash injection to kick start the scheme, they are also available for us to ask advice in matters of business.

I'm sure the doubters amongst you will look on the above with the usual scorn, but at least I get off my backside and asked the questions off my own bat I wanted answering I'm sure if you aproached him he would answer any questions you have.

Alan Rowley is the unpaid chief executive of Leigh Centurions , in some respects I dont personnaly think Alan even wants the job , but he will do it to help our Chairman

Good stuff Fred, it all sounds really positive and like I said earlier, it's obvious that things have been going on behind the scenes to get the club rolling again. Well done to all concerned, I say, at least it's a step in the right direction. Let's hope it takes off.

Look at it this way there are 5 very wealthy and influencial businessmen who are willing to back thier love of a sporting club by cold hard cash in todays economic climate what are leigh Centurions suppose to do? turn them away? now who's being real?

Well done to the 5 who have started this up , can't say we didn't need a cash injection. Ofcourse people are entitled to their opinions on this , but I don't know where the objectors are coming from at all . Each to their own I suppose.

LISA's first meet was with Higgins, explaining what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it, after that he had nothing else to do with it.
I trust this will evolve in a similar manner.

As long as people are putting money into this club to help improve the team i'm all for it even if it was £25 x 5 a month its still £1500 a year that we currently dont have.

I have no doubt that they have already put thousands in already so i think they deserve something out of it, so give the some free hospitality after all they are paying for it in one way or another....

they have put in considerably more than that and are asking for nothing in return, like I said genuine fans no axes to grind just want to help, wish there were more like them.
