I'm a wigooner in university... Although I am a die hard Leigh fan so that already shows a far higher intelligence than expected in wigoon

My brother in law and nephew are Wigoon season ticket holders, brother in law has even been to watch Leigh with me in the past, and he always wants us to do well.

Worse still is a person who is born in a town VERY close to Leigh named the same name as said town and is a season ticket holder for 'the pies'!

BUT to save his face he does come (well is dragged by me) to more Leigh games (home and away) than he goes to his 'adopted' team. NO NAMES 'BJA' but you know who you are



Did you know it was a Wiganer who invented the toilet seat?? But it was a Leyther who improved it by cutting a hole in it!

Its a case of Lancashire v Yorkshire and its Lancashire all the way ,come on Wigan make um pay for cheating last time ,by the way Mr Sinfield is a tad upset by all the anti Leeds comments

I also know a Wigan supporter who comes to all of Leighs home matches and they catch 2 buses to get here

I'm a wiganer through and through and proud of it however some of the best people i know are leythers. I may dislike leigh rugby (with a passion) and poke fun at the place in general but when it comes to the people of leigh then they don't come much better. (I think i need a pie and a lie down after that saying that)

I feel there are a few bridges being built here.

I do not HATE WIGAN. I love it when the rugby team lose though, the footie team - do not care, no wigganers ever play for them, mind you many englishmen for that matter.
WIGAN, the town, have a few friends who live there, couple of nights out a year, really like the 'John Bull' Pub & Maximes ROCK night.

People are fine, dont like the towns layout so dont go very often.
never watch them live -tape and delete if they win, watch it if they lose as I like happy endings.

Must admit , im not a Wigan rugby fan, but they do havesome good players,ive met a few of them at the gym i go to and there are no Prima Donnas,Sam Tomkins and Tom Lueluai ,especially are really nice lads,only Stu Feilden who a bit quiet.

Think that can be said across the board in our game to be honest. Had some drunken RL analysis from Scott Moore up Leigh a few weeks ago and I've met Andy Coley a few times and he seems a nice enough bloke.

saints v wigan final would be 'awesome'. Even I would not want to miss that one.
