Of greater concern to me, than Sunday's score, is that Hunslet will not have many there supporting them - if their message board on 'TotalRL' is to be believed. Their fans appear very disillusioned!

As for the game, this league has already proved a bit unpredicatable. Keighley went second, after beating Swinton on Thursday, (from 7th) to be replaced by Sheffield, who beat Dewsbury last night. We're back to 7th now!

I remember Leigh going to Hunslet when they opened the South Leeds stadium - at that time they had more support than us home & away and a far better team - lets not forget where we came from.

How many times did we 'make a mistake' in Hunslet's 10 metre area, it was unbelieveable. We made 3 times more 'handling errors' than Hunslet. BUT a win is a win. Rob Parker was awesome, he was the obvious choice for MOM, and Tommy Gallagher's 'sidestep' that led to Ryan Briereley's try was superb !!!!

Thought we were guilty of forcing the pass on far too many occasions but good to see we were trying things out. No disrespect to Hunslet who certainly gave us a decent workout, but it's those sorts of games where we can try and throw the ball about it and see what comes of it rather than taking risks against the 'bigger' sides.

The sidesteps(s) from Twinkletoes Gallagher were worth the admission fee alone and Parker was a man possessed at times. Thought Nicholson had a very decent game as well.

Agree with that - thought we did try some things that with Duffy pulling the strings wouldn't have happened as he would have kept a calmer head - that said its good to see the younger players confident enough to try things out.
