My observeration that we needed to sign some players was more along the lines of admitting we are bollocked - down, a touch of sarcasm to a admitance that we have been caught out this season in our consistant continous decline of massively underperforming on & off the pitch.

I presumbe the "numpties flooding back when Leigh lose" have actually been here all season, that is unless you think the table is lieing and Leigh are in a false position.

And if the team that beat Sheffield and Widnes turn up next week we too will score 74!!

To be honest I'd be happy with any kind of victory (1 point or 70points).

Who cares, win by 2 or 74 still 3 points, and after yesterday we can no longer rely on points difference. Even the one 'given' win looks scary now. Now that would be embarrasing.

I didn't and whether we lost by 1 or 60 odd its sill a defeat if i am honest i thought we may of played for a bonus point but my guess is with us carrying so many injuries and a Massive game next week we gave it up?? who knows.

LOL is that what we have come to, a game against the whipping boys is a Massive game. At least they have saved us the title of the divisions whipping boys

Of course it matters how many we win by, you cant complain about points difference yesterday and then say a 2 point win is alls we need!

If we win by the same score line next week it will mean we have the exact same points difference as of 6.29pm yesterday!

Due to traffic problems yesterday I only got to see our reserves play for the last 50 minutes. They were 10-4 down when I got there and ran out winners 38-20.

They play entertaining RL, they tackle well, they back up, when they pass the ball it usually goes to a players midriff, they are organised and enjoy their play and are there for each other. 5 minutes to go I heard a Leigh forward shout to his mates,"this ******* job isn,t done yet lads.

Who coaches that team ?



Mind boggling watching the anhialation which followed almost 2 hours and a bit later.

Just got home I,ll be there next week of course. Will we stay up ? Well nothing ever changes if it stays the same.

For the last 4 years, there have been a number of coaches if the reserves/u21s/academy, that have done far more to show they deserve a role with the first team than Paul Rowley. Sadly, Rowley seems to be guaranteed a job with the first team and he's done bugger all to justify it!

We said the same thing last night. What have they got to lose!

Rowley to coach the reserves and the reserve team coach to coach the first team.

Think you missed my point but never mind. If you want to add into the points difference won't be saving us. We still have to play Halifax and Gateshead (score points for fun) and Gateshead have Doncaster as their last game of the season.

The only get out I can see is Batley losing all their remaining games and not picking up any bonus points. Remember we don't do bonus points either.

having business interests that take me to the furness area on a regular basis, i just thought it was a tad unfair to criticize someone, who for decades, has got the game lots of positive column inches

I was just stating that I've not read a quote against any of that reporters game summaries. I'm sure he does a lot of other stuff. There's a lot of my writing that hasn't seen the light of day.

I always feel I'm letting someone down if I don't obtain reaction, I suppose it's what you are comfortable with.
