Isn't it strange that the more good news the club has to share, the less people there are to listen to it. I think the club should announce that we're on the verge of going bust just before the next fans forum - it will be standing room only.

Any chance of a few bullet points on what was discussed (or even just the good things you mention).

I could not be there for a reason. I hope the driver of last nights 26 10 05pm bus to Manchester who does not know where he should pick passengers up at Leigh bus station realises this incidentally.

It took me over two hours to get home never mind me standing in the cold after another losing night at our fund raising poker night because he is thick. (maybe he will contact me to apologise).

Weather was very cold this evening I would have been there but quite frankly a lot of people must have thought what they would have been told they did not know already.

I listened to it on Leigh Life and it is plain to me us diehards need to get more involved with LISA for eg if Fax are trying to get Ryan Brierley to join them.

Not everyone can afford £5 a month but if you can and care about our club you should.

Frank mish is right in what she says, she is not saying you in person but when there is turmoil in the club there seems to be a lot more at the forum, don't take it personal mate a lot of people will have good reason not to be there.

Re Lisa I really can't afford it due to living on my own with a big mortgage But I still pay my Lisa money every month and my lottery every week it's only a few £ a month and in my opinion it's well worth it to watch Leigh Centurions play in the Worlds Greatest Game

No of course I wasn't pointing the finger at anyone personally, I was just making an observation and we broadcast the forum for those who want to know what's going on at the club but can't attend for whatever reason.

You are quite correct. I shall make a concerted effort to attend the next one as long as work commitments allow.

I will have to admit. I was free to attend last night however the superb Leigh life radio service has made me complacent recently, so I again listened in instead.

Think that's only human nature to be fair Mish. I would have normally been there but had a prior engagement.

You will always get more people the more dramatic the news is whether it be good or bad news IMHO.
Like for example if the club announced a fans forum for next Friday and they will be revealing our latest signings , the room would probably be full.

Why have we stopped doing the meet the players evening, where they were given their shirts? It was a good night that.

No one to arrange them, the club (not counting the Lottery staff) is down to one full time member of staff, Richie has gone and not been replaced as of yet, & Annette is off sick.

Probably those People had other things to do ?We can only give so much time to our "Great Club ",personally ive not been well for a while , which is why i wasnt there , although i did still turn up to help run the Tuesday Night Poker Session, and will be at the game on Friday .

I also think when needed most Fans on this Forum will answer the call .

I don't think Mish was personally criticising anyone unable to attend last night's forum or intended to question what any other fans do for the club either.

To me it was an observation made that the event deserves a wider audience and despite not attending the last couple of forums myself, it's a view I totally agree with.
