heard snippets on talk sport radio today,one of the topics being the bad standard of referees in football and super league,so not just db who thinks its about time things improved.my own opinion is that there is no consistancy in the game from referees,to disciplinary,stadiums,kick off times.i hope his comments result in an improvement,but i doubt it.

Tigertroll, on a personal note.....is trolling the only orgasm you ever have ? What would world beaters Castleford's crowd be, after no home win for almost 3 months. When you fail to win yet another trophy (41 years ?) I will enjoy sending you a PM. I have no reason to dislike Castleford at all, but YOU have changed all that. You lot will eventually get some bad luck/decisions/injuries etc, and I can't wait.
p.s. Our owner is not thick, he has decided to criticize Referees/Officials after a 0-38 scoreline, when the officials had nothing to do with the result. That will have made more of an impact rather than if we had lost a game by just a few points, do you understand ? Enjoy your visit to the St. Helens forum, when you thrash them next week. (p.s. Poor club? Thanks to DB and our excellent facilities we're currently far from poor.
Hated? Are we or is this a Yorkshire thing? Either way I can live with that.
Shown up by whom? Yourselves have inflicted our biggest defeat others have been quite close, plus haven't you put higher scores against other established SL clubs.
I'll enjoy watching us in whatever league we play in.

We got 2 bad injuries yesterday.

You seem confident we won't win anything this year , but I think we are in a great position for at least 1 of the 3 on offer, which for a team who were in the championship 10 years ago and we're yo yoyo-ing between leagues, ain't a bad position to be in.

Personally don't think DB should have made his rant yesterday.

The comments by ex refs on Facebook I read yesterday proves Derek right in what he says I believe a hull fan has wrote in with his concerns too .
One thing Derek speaking out is we will be watched closely now and refs will be under the mirocscope so that can only be good for us

Just read the official report on the RFL website. Mentions about DB taking the unusual step of taking the post match press conference and a couple of quotes from him. Strangely absolutely nothing about the main points he raised

Well I see an established SL club below us in the table, so not sure how we are being shown up - certainly competing with most teams.

Home fan!! Without checking I would suggest our average is by no means the lowest, and when you consider 4 or so years ago we were averaging 1500 that has now almost quadrupled- quite a feat in my opinion

And in my opinion DB should keep stum - doubt it will achieve anything other than create negativity about the club

It is a bit ott to claim that Ridyard is missing, he is playing for someone else so he is hardly in the first 13.

if we can get all the players back and fit for the 8s half of them will have missed more than they have played this season so should be bursting a gut to play

IMO DB has gone about this the wrong way, the I feel sorry for myself has started to infest within the squad as the players body language looked awful at times and DB has given the players a green light here to feel that way
