Derek coming out & saying that "we may have to consider making the North Stand all Season Ticket" (or some such) is a great business ploy. Make the fervent & hardened regulars think that they could be forced to sit in [iThe Library[/i & some newer converts or irregular fans to believe a sell out is on the cards & suddenly you create a gold rush for Season Tickets, then [iBOOM !!![/i you've got more than your estimated Season Ticket sales well in advance of SL 2017.

What a load of pretentious garbage, yet again another thread taken over by "really clever people" who know big words and sayings.

Oh dear , oh dear.

Plenty folk on here know who I am, I have enjoyed the company of many posters and I doubt there are many Harry's still attending Leigh matches to differentiate between. There is also a little clue to the top left hand side of all my posts.

However one is missing the point. In life there are plenty people who will readilly offer you a lot but actually they deliver very little.

In my line of work, certainly towards the latter stages we had people who talked the talk but when it came to the crunch, they lacked the competency, the organisational skills or indeed the know how to drive through their promises.

Consultants, Strategists, Balloonists. Call them what you will. Industry and business is littered with them and it holds back real growth.

It is a great shame my balloonist descriptive appears to have hit a real nerve with one particular poster but hey ho it is the off season after all.

Back on topic. You could still buy North Stand STs as at 4pm this afternoon. I checked.

Is it possible to get an unreserved season ticket? Like to take family and friends to 5 or 6 matches a season and they like to sit and generally a side view seems best for occasional visitors.

Trouble with the written word is that people can mis-interpret it or, even worse, start 'reading between the lines!' (when there's lots of written words, that is!)

Quite correct Alan, sadly we now live in a world of get rich very quick lawyers sadly.

In previous days we used to just laugh it off , at worse we would shrug our shoulders, say it's just water off a ducks back and then proceed to buy each other a drink and get merry together

I have decided I am going to get a season ticket for the North Stand even though I will miss quite a few matches with work commitments but I am only getting it in a few weeks, the ticket office says there is no rush as yet.
