| Quote ="THECherry&Whites"Would they be the same "young lads" who had cans of alcohol confiscated at the turnstiles, were repeatedly asked to sit down in an all seated stand, were asked to refrain from constant swearing and were caught on the stadiums cctv trying to rip out the seats at the back of the stand? I suppose its alright because they were dressed as women and you can do what you like at Post Office Road.'"
They were sat right behind us, they were doing nothing wrong. defo not ripping seats out, lol what a load of cr@p.
I suppose everyone in the leigh seats as down all game. The stewards were after a reaction.

| Quote ="Nozzy"Yep, those 15 year old scrotes were an embarrassment by 1.30pm outside the Wren. They were desperately trying to come across as 'characters' but in fact were just immature s who over stepped the mark several times even before kick off. No surprise they continued to act up once inside the ground. A few of them wore a dress, hilarious. No excuse to be an ar$ehole all afternoon.
Even for 15 year old lads they really need to grow up. Made tits of themselves today!'"
Yep those 15 year old scrotes who when the stewards asked them for Id all produced valid id's to prove they were over 18. It was a gang of young lads just wanting to enjoy themselves and have a laugh. they were in a fev only stand, so not bothering anyone from leigh. all the stewards managed to do was rile everyone around them when there was no need for it. But role out the usual bulle that they were ripping out seats. lol

They weren't hooligans. But they were acting up a bit and attracted some attention from the Stewards.
I am not going to say they were terrible or particularly offensive but neither do I think the stewards over stepped.
To be honest after winning 4 from your last 5, 9 out of 9 away from home and with a new coach I expected 600+ from Fev. It was an important game so to bring around 300 is very poor for a Sunday afternoon.
Bulls brought around 2000 and I expect similar numbers from Leigh at Odsal next week. Fev seem to have been left behind and the few that remain are drunk and wearing dresses

| I prefer to talk about Leigh and our performance today , at times we were our own worst enemy , dropping balls and missing tackles , but when we decide to play rugby, no team can live with us in this Division. The score could have easily been 70 today had we played as we did for 80 minutes, for me Ryan B was again at his best , assisted by Emmitt,Barlow , and of course Fui ,a good game to watch though ,and the Bradford result virtually hands Top spot to us , we'll done to Rowls and the team.

Its been an awful season mate, we have been terrible at home and support has dwindled there. We got over 6k for the Bradford game and played absolutely rubbish. we have probably got an hardcore of 1500, but while ever we are playing poor the extra lot wont turn up.
You have seen it with yourselves, success brings the fans in, over 4k today. you wouldn't have dreamt that 4-5 years ago

| Top spot belongs to Leigh I reckon now. Even if we do beat you next week it's still in your hands and it's going to a massive ask turning you over with the way we're playing at the moment.

| According to NRL News the Top Try Scorers for the Championship so far are:
1) Liam Kay (Leigh Centurions) - 27 tries
2) Ryan Brierley (Leigh Centurions) - 23 tries
3) Gregg McNally (Leigh Centurions) - 20 tries
Not bad going

Well I don't think you did Fev any favours today, but you certainly did for Sheffield. And I agree next week will count for nothing as the next encounter with you after that,is the one that counts.

| Should have been another 70 pointer against the worst Fev side I have seen for years.
Why do we constantly resort to showboating (someone on another thread said taking the ) when we have the match won instead of putting teams to the sword?

| We took Ridyard and Brierley off for the last 15 minutes. Game was well won so no point risking them. I think Haggerty and Beswick were playing as our halves for the final stages. Haggerty's kick lead to Hocks try though so fair play to him. And big Jake Emmitt nailed the final conversion too.

| Honestly thought Fev played some good attacking rugby (funny isn't it, yet another opposition playing rugby, yet another game with no scrappy fighting) they really challenged our defence, which was up to the challenge though. Defensively they weren't up to much though. They were obviously very tired by the end of the game though and if we'd have gone out after them rather than easing off we could have really done even more damage.
After a poor 1st 20 min with lots of unforced errors (don't know what caused that but was thankfully sorted) we played some brilliant rugby yet again. Barlow's offloading is incredible, a little flick round the front to a player running onto it is almost impossible for teams to defend against. Brierley had a great game and did what Brierley does, think Fuifui Moimoi deserved MOM though, put in some great effort, really powerful runs and for a prop to score a hat trick, for Fuifui Moimoi to score his 1st hat trick of an illustrious 12 year career is something you had to be there for.
Ref was quite poor, very short 10 m and we barely had any 50:50 decisions go our way all game. Last week we seemed to have a ref who gave every loose ball as a knock on, this week we had one that gave every one as a ball steal, honestly starting to think refs decide if they're going to give knock on or ball steal before they go on the pitch.
Still important win against a good team. It's looking like top spot will be ours now (thanks Sheff); would still go full strength to Bradford though & try to get a big win to knock their confidence and boost ours.

To be honest it almost seems like we've settled for second now anyway, even before the defeat at Sheffield. We just didn't look bothered yesterday.
I'm hoping we'll rest our key players for the Leigh game because there really is no point playing them. But knowing Jimmy Lowes he'll probably play them and risk them picking up injuries

| I agree, I hope we rest Riddy/Brierley and go with Reynolds and Foster. Pala/Higson in centres, Pownall FB
Acton, Spencer, Emmitt, Wilkes/Hopkins front rows, Beswick at 9, Goulden, Haggerty and Sarsfield in the back row with Kay/Lee on the wings, Tracey and dixon to make the 17 up on the bench.

| I don't think it will make much difference to confidence ........ Losing to Fev, Eagles and ,probably, Fax would be much more telling had it been important to beat them. I don't think many fans or players recognise the kudos in finishing top of the Championship.........We need a few more years down here to spot that and that might have to involve the development of rivalries and all that entails. However I do think it will be hard for fans to see the Bulls smashed again. It's a shame really that the game is largely meaningless as an unpopular team selection could see the crowd reduced from what it could have been. I make no claim to understanding what plan our management/coaching team are working to but it's clear that our performances for a long time have been little more than effective in reaching the objective of a place in the top 2. This seems very different to how Leigh have approached things.

It might've been if we'd beaten Fev and Sheffield like we should've. Prior to the Fev game we'd lost the same amount of games as you and the Leigh game was set to be the decider for top, but we've been poor in the last few weeks.
Next week's game is unimportant now. If we play a weakened team and you stuff us then it won't matter. We both start on 0 points again in a few weeks.

What a load of rubbish. Where's this magic wand that we're going to wave that stops us being the rabble from the last two months, to a team capable of beating Leigh, Salford, Wakaey etc You can't just turn form on and off like a tap. Confidence is huge in sport. That's why when you see a striker in football, who's full of confidence, one on one with the keeper, he'll stick it into the bottom corner, Same player, same scenario but is low on confidence, he'll hit it straight at the keeper or over the bar. Technique has very little to do with it.
Leigh believe they can beat anybody right now. Their players, fans staff, the whole club is bouncing. While our players, fans are reeling from being absolutely dominated against part time opposition twice in two weeks.
You say it doesn't matter if we lose the next two games and won't effect our confidence. Funny that has the Bulls quite rightly got booed off at HT yesterday. Losing the next two games isn't going to give them a boost or help get the fans behind them. The Bulls fans have been brilliant all season. Travelled in huge numbers all year, and got right behind the team. They've been average (at best) for two months now and the fans have always got right behind them. Yesterday they had enough and if they produce the same for the next two weeks, god help them.
How on earth you can say there is no difference finishing top to second. Just sounds like sour grapes. I would much rather play Wakey and Leigh at Odsal than having to go to BV and LSV.
