Thats very refreshing coming from an SL fan. The problem is it will take the games demise for all the others to see the light. For our sport to strengthen the TV money needs to be shared out more evenly. Not all at once but over say 7 years. Make a plan that is very clear for this to give investors in the championship clubs something to chew on. Light at the end of the tunnel. The regional franchise scenario that people have put forward is one that I personall think would work. The 7 years given would have clauses and if you don't meet them you don't get a share or a franchise. This talk of not having a big enough player pool is rubbish in my view as no one knows how any promising amature would proform given the chance to be totaly full time professional. At the end of it all the way forward is for more of the TV money to trickle, no flood down to the lower leagues so that the difference in class is closed. Make clubs bring their grounds upto scratch in order to get the TV money and only let them use the TV money for players or coaching staff. Let the game provide the lions share of the wages and the clubs concentrate on providing the surroundings.

Yeh I am Spartacus but to get our club to flourish there are only 2 ways.

One is 2000 more fans every match and the other 2000 LISA members paying £10 a month.

We then keep this great side.

There is nobody wanting to take over as far as I know so it is down to the fans.

, no disrespect , but there are two people involved in this , the ' saviour ' and the majority shareholder , they are the only two people who really know what the situation is

So which did you speak to ?

Irrespective of whether there is an individual 'saviour', or a group of them, this is going to take time to complete.

I know there have been a series of meetings, ( no secret) having talked to a current director recently, but a deal/transaction such as this can't just be completed overnight.

The way I (personally) see it, two things are happening:

- An attempt to guarantee the short-term survival of the Club - i.e. the remainder of this season.

- A future re-structuring exercise, to guarantee the long-term future of the Club.

Let's be patient, eh - there's bound to be a lot to unravel, before it's all sorted?

Didnt the Coroporate Club make a statement last week that they were giving the Club£25000, did that not happen?

I have no idea, but I believe it wouldn't have been 'given' probable made available to or guaranteed for ......

As has been stated, negotiations are underway lets hope they are concluded soon so that we can all focus on making the future a great one.
