and this is the real point, Salford can try and hide behind the fact that many of their first team were missing (which is true), but looking at the above list, tells a somewhat different story!

I would suggest the combined salaries of the players on the park yesterday would show Salfords wage bill more than double that of Leigh.
I thought the pack looked well balanced with Littler in the back row, and that both Nicholson and Pownall had very good games.
Our line speed was the best I have seen for a long time and the defence cruel at times.
Add in some options with Blythe and Armstrong and we may have a decent year ahead of us.

Those 6 are our shoe ins for the 2011 season the rest aren’t guaranteed to make the starting 17. So if you look at it we had 5 regular first teamers the rest were squad players there for back up.

Leigh have one decent game and they are class.

Warrington sent their first team last year, it does come in handy when your players are actually from the country they're supposed to be playing in. Considering every other club has been in pre-season training for a month, surely it's concerning to have so much of your first team squad on the other side of the world?

If you must know Daniel Holdsworth and Luke Patten are in training with Canterbury Bulldogs, Feka and Vinnie Anderson are with NZ Warriors, Mark Henry is training in Townsville along with Ray Cashmere, and Phil Baily is with Cronulla Sharks so they all should be nice and fit for when they arrive over here.

Nice and fit, but won't have a clue who they're playing alongside. Genius.

They'll be over here by next week, 6 weeks is plenty of time to gel don't worry about us.
