...short memories some folk.
Always had a soft spot for Bolton with them being our closest pro football team.
Maybe Jewell can do his magic again and is over his recent poor record. If his head is right and he has the real appetite back I am sure he will do a good job.I take your point FL but weighing up all the facts he will do okay.
Reid will be a step backwards and I guess Hughes too expensive. IMO Curbishleys not right but what about Dowie?
Good luck to whoever takes on the role ([size=50except against city[/size )

All you're succeeding in doing is making yourself look a bit stupid and extremely childish, on this forum and others.
Maybe it's about time to let the grown-ups carry on their conversations without butting in?
Not long 'til term starts again, I;m sure you must have some homework to be doing?

Which tells you he is a honorable man , I'd rather have one of those than somebody who is purely in it for the money

Indeed
Most of my mates at Bolton are Wigan RL fans.
Most of my mates at Salford are Man United fans.
At least they have one club that has some success to celebrate?!
I did have a good year, once, as Big Sam got BWFC into Europe and Rhino took Salford into the playoffs but normal service has been resumed since!
Still, could be worse - some people support Wanderers and Leigh?!
(and some real numpties support Leigh RL and Leigh Genesis FC?!?)

| Can't see it being Coyle. Like someone else said he turned down Celtic to manage Burnley in the Premier League and it's like going from the frying pan into the fire. Certainly wouldn't go down well in Lancashire, I think there's already enough tension with Allardyce being at Blackburn.
What next Megson gets the Burnley job if Coyle ends up at Bolton lol?

| Gartside has said Coyle is number one choice, money has therefore piled on him and bookies have hence slashed their odds.
However, that doesn't mean he'll take the job, as much as I'd like to see him at the Reebok.
Spent today on the Dark Side of the Pennines and heard that Sheff Weds want Megson as their 'new' boss (again?!)

| I reckon Coyle will go if offered the job. He's in the last year of his contract too so he wouldn't cost much in compensation.

Think Coyle will stay at Burnley and keep them up this season and then take over from Mowbery at Celtic as i can't see him lasting beyond this season.

Seemed to put an awful lot of time and effort into appluading the crowd at the end of Burnley's game today.
Reminded me a bit of Hughes at the end of his last game at City.
Coyle also failed to appear for the post-match press conference, where he would inevitably have been questionned about his future.
