I'm just curious to know what are the rules about paying amateur players and how many clubs in the NCL are doing it ?
Have the mighty Leigh East ever considered paying their players and reasons why not ?
Just an observation , but I wonder how many so called amateur players have turned down Pro contracts with Leigh because they are on more money playing in the amateur leagues ?
The games gone mad , and it will all end in tears  |

the diff is that east signing are a lot stronger ,and obrian is the key in my opinion,he gets the top award then leaves something wrong there ,the miners have signed perry smith ect ,i feel they have left cos they wont get a game in the east team thats all, no disrepect to them lads but its not realy stenthend them has it

but yeah he is coming down miners after hes finished with rochdale so in about 6 weeks ish?
i dont think people should write us off just yet you know cos okay weve lost some key players from last years squad and it seems the pressure is off us yet again and on east to perform with these new 'star' signings. |
