This is getting silly now. We could register a Leigh A and B team and both would be competitive and have strength in depth! No excuses this year. Sheffield have a weaker squad this season and will be playing their home games on a ploughed field, Fax have a weaker squad and have the Harrison factor. Fev are weaker and have a lot of in house fighting. Only Batley seem to have strengthened.

Where would we play Ellis? we have 4/5 promising half backs with two more knocking on the door from the 20's, then again quality is always good to have.

Think the same applies to the rest of the side as well!

We have ten props so the young props in the 20s team probability will be further away from getting a chance unless the injuries situation is worse then last year .
Shame as Bate and Bullock are a product of the 20s team last season .

You can't complain with the strength in depth our squad have now really? There's certainly no excuses this coming season the new year can't come soon enough

Wonder why Noble didn't fancy Jake? He's a big lad I'll give you that, didn't think he was given a fair crack at the whip tbf at Salford.
