The club just can't do right at times.
All the Aussies that have 'supposedly' been coming to Britain have all covered their bases in some way or another and I feel Williams is doing this incase the Visa application goes wrong.

| We did not play badly all through the game just 30 soul destroying mins in second half ,we need someone who can pick the young lads up when we get behind they must get in the mindset that when they are losing they have no chance of getting back in the game then 10 mins to go they must think "eh up lets go for the bonus point" and it nearly worked,but did'nt |

The Lancashire-based club yesterday was trumpeting on its official website that it had “signed” Williams and he would join the club in May.
Williams, however, last night denied he had struck a deal with Leigh, which is one of the oldest clubs in England.
“This is actually the first I’ve heard of it,” Williams said last night.
“Apparently there is significant interest (from Leigh) but I definitely haven’t signed anything.”
Williams is adamant a “third party” has negotiated with Leigh on his behalf, but without his knowledge.
“I know nothing about it,” he said.
“All I know is that I’ll be playing for Lavington this week.”
Despite his surprise at the news from England, Williams indicated he may be tempted by the challenge of playing for Leigh in the Northern Rail Cup and Co-operative Championship competitions.
“It would be exciting to get a chance to play again at a top level,” he said.

Spain is EEC you dont need a visa or work permit to come and work here if you are EEC resident/passport holder, so yes there is a great difference, thats why suddenly lots of Aussies are finding Greek, Maltese etc.. relatives.

You seem to have missed the point I was making. People (fans) are calling the club, however clubs with a far higher profile than ourselves, (clubs said to be the biggest in the world). Are doing exactly the same. i.e. claiming to have signed a player.
