Outside a solid defensive centre he would clean up at Leigh or anywhere in this league. People harp on about his Defence but if he's looked after by a good centre he would be ok.

In our normal starting 17 i'd say Hopkins was as quick as anyone after Brierley (sub) and Pownall. Maybe McNally, but that's about it.

Interesting you should mention the radio broadcast, what (in your opinion) makes you think it's failed?

It doesn't bring anything in in £££'s, nor does it cost the club a penny. It was never intended to bring money in, that's not what it's there for.

If it brings in nowt and it could cost us money at the gate, so must be scrapped as we aren't a charity.
The other option is to charge for it, in which case keep it for the out of towners and away fans for say £10 a game.

It depends on how you can quantify the sponsorship we are attracting. Is some of it because of the exposure being offered, on the radio? (for example, are some of our exiled Leythers in Australia/Canada sponsoring us now?)Are some folks now attending because of what they have heard on a broadcast?

It's all part of putting the club's name out there, and should be marketed as such - as with the programme, media, websites, and PPV TV.
