Disappointing after all the hype.

Saw it this afternoon. I was going to post how disappointed I was when I saw it, but thought that I would get attacked by the anti-negativity police. Now I see I'm not the only who thinks it's a poor effort I can post safely in the knowledge I'm not being negative, as the majority have the same view.

Suppose it's better than nowt though, it's a start. I too thought it was going to be a big sign saying something like Home of Leigh Centurion RLC, or something on those lines.

I like it, it is opposite and the same size as the LSV one so it's good enough for me.

Went to Morrison's earlier and although it's a start, I'd certainly be hoping it to (eventually) lead to "the home of Leigh Centurions" in reet big letters along the West Stand.

I think everyone is disappointed because everything about the LSV is top quality with no expense spared. They then put up a piece of tarp hung up with plastic cable ties. Where's the solid illuminated sign? Come on LSV, as my old gran used to say "if you are going to do something, do it properly".

This is what I would have expected from the club a couple of years ago. I expected so much more now we have advanced so far. It is no better than the flags provided by the fans.

Possibly a mistake relying on LSV to provide it.

Can't see what the fuss is about quite honestly.
