Yes we did deserve it, we tackled like the under 7's. I agree with cushler on the coaching naivity. Yes, Fev held down and mauled about, but the ref was letting it go, why don't we do it too?! Not once have we exploited a referee this year, fev did their holding down in a dominant fashion, and like it or not you have to play to the referee, it's part of the game as much as the kicking, passing, tackling etc. Not a criticism of Fev this, but i still maintain that they don't do anything extraordinary, they rund hard, tackle with purpose and chase their kicks up. Very simple rugby done very well. Why can't we do it?

Well put and exactly what i think they spoil and then exploit our frustration, they are good at it tho.

Yes we did deserve that scoreline, we were outplayed all over the park.
We only had , Goulden ,Taylor, Beswick and Pownall missing out of our own first team squad, dont think we would have won with these playing.
They are at the best on their own ground. WE needed to get in front early door , instead we took wrong options near their line in the first quarter of an hour and then they ran in 3 quick tries , game over.
I canT however understand why Thornley could play and the lad from Wire couldnt as Thornley hasnt played in the previous rounds.
Duffs looked dead on his feet for the last 15 minutes , I presume Brierley had took a knock and couldnt come back on, leaving us with all forwards on the bench.

we were outplayed in every department by easily the best team in ths division.our lads were knackered and some looked like they were carrying knocks.I was disgusted by the abuse dircted at rowley,ridyard and brierley.Lets just take it on the chin and remember we are lucky to have a team if you think back to pre season.

Well done Fev, they out played us in every department, they once again controlled the ruck with and without the ball, and we got what we deserved.

We did have players missing, and a few who didn’t really seem fit enough to play, would this have made any difference? Well maybe on the final scoreline but I think they’d probably still win.

Riddy needs a partner, Duffy isn’t fit and young Ryan isn’t a half back I’m afraid, good finisher, but not creative, he has time on his hands to develop, but like a few others I think he’ll eventually become a Full back.

Fev deserved that scoreline, they were much better. We are lucky to put a team on the field and several of those players are carrying knocks, so I think people need to applaud Leigh for even getting to the semi and also being in the top 6. Well done for the season so far Leigh as you have done a lot better than I thought you would at the beginning of the season.

We dominate the ruck with or without the ball and are very good at it. This allows us to dictate the pace of our game and the oppositions. It's been part of the game in general for a few years now.
I think the result was about right although the score could have been higher. your lads looked out on their feet and i'm pretty sure some were playing when they shouldn't have been. As some posters have said, considering the state of your club at the end of last season i'd say it's hats off to all concerned. Enjoyed the craic as usual, would love to see some of you in Blackpool, honorary cappers for a day sounds good. Good luck for the rest of the season.

I remember Leigh singing Widnes in disguise a lot mate.They now know how I felt in the Championship.Anyway who was missing for Leigh as seemed still a decent side out.
