They are only the worst team because they went 'belly up' and lost most of thier first team during the season, its a good job for us they did or we would be stuck there.

Although I agree with Fred we did win at your place despite an incompetant referee AND touch judge. We also won away at Sheffield and beat Widnes away. Despite the fact your club sadly went bust effectively, we have a better squad now than April, We also have a director of rugby which we didn,t have then.

We'll stop up, but it'll be a struggle, probably go right down to the wire. If we win by a decent margin on Sunday, and Gateshead beat Batley, then we move up a place and will be in front of Batley by 1 or maybe 2. But we will stay up. Keep the faith.

As for us staying up

, really dont know , yes it is in our own hands , but we keep dropping it

I'd want Widnes to stay up, albeit by the skin of their teeth and, if possible, by some sort of obscure regulation so that they couldn't claim it was because of on-field ability.

At least next season we'll have Rochdale, Swinton and Oldham rather than just Widnes.

How come you lot want Gateshead to beat batley?



If Batley win and you do (well at least this week you will) you two go 4/5/6 points above Gateshead and leave them behind with just 4 to go. A gateshead win has you 3 all grouped together still surly?

Batley have a much harder run in and could conceivabley not win another game and only pick up bonus points [ especially with big Karl riding his motorbike across America for the next 3 weeks whereas the Geordies play us next to last match and then Donny on the last day when we play Haven at home

If batley pick up some points we would need to be 6 points in front of Gateshead going into the last 2 matches to be reasonably confident of staying up

Also you have to take the conspiracy theorists point of view [ We have many of them including me

Not my view because Gateshead will beat us imo and we might only beat Donny. For me a big Gateshead win and Batley losing at home to Sheffield will make us more comfortable when we play our last match of this bloody awful season.

Being an optimist I can see us staying up no matter what the result of this match is.
