we paid money for Kevin Brown, brought in Ryan Bailey after he was binned by Leeds Cas and Hull KR,
signed the injury ravaged Gary Wheeler from Saints. we replaced Adrian Morley and Gareth Carvell with stinking signings like Roy Asotasi, Anthony England, and Jordan Cox.

we also let Richie Myler go and are currently trying anyone with their own boots in the half back position

....oh yes Gareth O'Brien also "not good enough" for Wire.
Though he's most likely not upset by that as he sits second in the league and in a challenge cup semi.

I'm not sure we have a clue what a good player looks like.

so don't be too worried about having our "cast offs"

Club needs to go out of its way to secure Ben Crooks. Heaps of potential and a very classy player who can only get better.

I fear that a bigger club may come in for him though hence the signing of Evans.

Be honest fellow Leyth fans, who would you prefer -Crooks or Evans? My guess is 8 out of 10 for Crooks!!!

Crooks or Evans Leigh fans-I'd say 8 out of 10 would say Crooks. Now Ryan Atkins-that's different!!!

That would be one way of ensuring no injuries to our centres next season - sign about ten of them!

I not heard this nearly signed him last season but fell through he nearly went to RU I think it's a season to late to sign Atkins in my opinion would be happy with Goodwin and crooks if we can secure him for next season

Atkins would be be a good signing IMO, would give strength in depth in an area we have been lacking this season

Seem to remember an excellent try from Crooks in the Wire game..Also recall a 20m head start on Atkins..

Well Crooks might not be an option so it doesn't really matter, Evans has played at a very decent level and I hope he proves the doubters wrong
