With the dry(ish) weather, the holidays, the winning team and feel good factor, even though Batley will only bring a mini bus (please prove me wrong) I predict a crowd of 2010. I know 2 who are coming with us who have not been this season.

As for the score, maybe our travels will take their toll but if we have the 4 fresh duel registered lads I will go for 40 - 14 to Leigh. Without, 32 - 20.

Batley will be tough (always are), but the last 15 should see us through.

Even I might make an appearance tonight, and we should all be very dissappointed if the attendance is not above 2200 !

Backing up after Fax & Toulouse, 3 games in a week, travel to the South of France, hint of over-confidence after some good recent results, at least 3 changes to a winning team, a tough and well organised Bulldogs side who will be up for it, in front of a bigger crowd due to recent performance/results ..... bound to be a Batley win!

We don't need you to tell us that things can change, but if you had seen the steady progression that the people making these predictions had, you would understand why they were realistic (in the main) for this game.

Made hard work of it, but it was all about the result tonight. Size of the crowd was a very pleasant surprise, was the busiest probably it's ever been around where I stand in the North Stand.

It was a hard fought victory today and I thought we did very well considering we've had the toughest schedule over easter. Defence was ruthless again - long may it continue.

I was (pleasantly) surprised with tonight's score. I thought most of our lads looked as fresh as daisies and kept their cool whilst Batley were trying every dirty trick in the book.

Batley had a lot of possesion and territory in the second half but couldn't unlock our defence. Great credit to our resolve to nil them second half! Duffy's try was a corker for me.

I heard Griffins debut was a little low key, having been out for a month but I also heard Nanyn got a bit bashed up by Walton and limped off when it got a bit rough. Dont spout off about Nanyn to me mate he has proved he does not like it at SL level.

Non relegation League ??? That must also apply to the Championship doesnt it ? If memory serves me right a certain club who should have been relegated from that league were'nt due to another club going in admin and one also beaten by York !!

Proved completely wrong following your questioning of the predicted scores earlier in this thread and your response is to come back with another poor effort at winding us up.
Oh and about your new statement re the demise of Leigh come the "business end". The dual players didn't play in France, yet we did OK (under statement so not to seem too Calland like

), and one look at our squad should tell you we have just about every position quite well covered in case of injuries.
I've seen every game we've played this season (except this Batley one), actually I've seen just about every game we've played for 5 or 6 seasons, and I think we have probably the best balanced squad we've had in many years. We also still have realistic room to improve.
Your statement about dual reg players leaving and injuries can be cut and pasted onto any site on this forum but it has less relevance to us than most in our league.

Leigh fans deserve some optomism but very few are over confident,unlike some other contributors to this forum in the past who have gone very quiet recently, you know who you are.

1) Liar - Nanyn 'bashed up' BUY THE DVD AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF
2) Mick Nanyn NEVER got picked for Quins - is it his fault for being English
3) There is relegation in our league, Gateshead asked to be demoted, to allow them to carry on. i.e. York, Leeds have lost to some 'weaker' teams this season, are we not allowed to.
3) We won 36-6 at Toulouse without the 'dual' players, last season we got 'whacked there'. I think Rhinos could do with borrowing a few, they are crap so far.
4) Like I said, stick to the non relegation league PAL !
5) We sound like Wigan fans, what TOP OF THE LEAGUE AND HAPPY !!
