Quite a few of the regulars seem to have dropped off, is it like this every season if they can't win they pack in?

Have the sheets not been collected from ginas shop this week? I handed 3 sheets in there on thurs. plus dont see any shop regulars on the results.

This is quite common, in recent years the same thing happened. Plus with having no MM Bar it is more difficult, that plus Thursday games. If I go back 10 years when I first started this at Rylands I regularly had over 200 a week!!!! More recently when running it for Leigh I could get upto 160/180. There is no reason why that can't happen again, but I need more outlets and more collectors (amongst friends).

Now in reply to Team Jacko, your coupons should have been dropped at the Centurion on Sunday. I picked up about 40 from there but didn't check to see who's were in there due to the pub being packed. My daughter had marked them and done the results sheets today whilst I was at work, and I have just updated the website. I spoke to Gina before her night out on Saturday and she said she would get them to the Centurion. So they are either there still or are with a very embarrassed Gina. Now I would have expected a phone call on Sunday or today stating someone had several sheets but I have not had anything to say they have been left anywhere.

I will try to speak to Gina tomorrow to get to the bottom of this.

Don't forget to get your forecasts in to the Centurion pub for 3pm. I'll be there around 3 and there should be some blanks available. So once Wire v Pies has finished get down there. We need to get the entries up for the last 2 (or maybe 3

) weeks of competition. Alternatively do it online and I am sure we can catch up before the end of the season.

Having looked at next weeks fixtures, there are only 4 on the Sunday and with the SL play offs in the following week not yet known it makes it hard to get 9 fixtures. Therefore I have decided not to run one this week. There will be one final week which will be available from the 12th September and this will include some early 4 Nations games which take place in October.

Ok, sorry everyone but the last weeks comp won't be marked until alot later tonight or even tomorrow.

Now for the very last comp of the year - I am currently trying to work out how/when it will be done. The last 6 fixtures on this last coupon will be the first 6 games of this years 4 nations tournament, I therefore need another three games to give us the full compliment of nine games. With no announcement yet of Eagles v Fax, or the Champ 1 playoff between Doncaster and Rochdale I have just two games, with the deadline having to be 14:45 next Sunday. I am going to wait until I get the Rugby papers in the morning which hopefully will give me the confirmed fixtures for next weekend.

As this is going to be the last coupon can we have a special push from our regulars to get some extra entries. If someone can cover the likes of The Hilton Park and The Red Lion and any other establishment inhabited by your good selves it would be appreciated. Please post on here if you want to help and where you can cover. If you need coupons I will get them to you this week.

Thanks for all your support throught the season, its just a pity that the fixture planners and Sky didn't make it easy to get regular entries in over the last 8-10 weeks.

OK, who did I upset. Less than 50 entries in total this week and the last 10 weeks or so have had very low numbers also. This weeks entries included just 1 entry from a 70 seater coach. So I ask again, what have I done wrong.

Some careful thought is required between now and next season as to whether I can justify the time.
