The win in France comes naturally, its the best rugby weekend away ever aslong as the suns out, i had some brilliant pictures form last years trip but misplaced my mobile in a gentlemans club on the last night, also missed the plane home aswell so youre probably best staying away from me really! 
I honeslty cant recommend this trip highly enough, anyone that hasnt been before must consider it this year!! |

Good Friday is a bad day for a home game at TO cos' it isnt a Bank Holiday in france so the traffic at tea-time (early evening ko) was impossible ! plus,being a working day for the french the local turnout was about half the usual amount so a financial disaster for the club.A good game tho' and a fully deserved victory for you lot.Robbie ran the show which was worth the entrance money alone !
Hopefully the Good Friday game will be in england for TO in 2011 |

Don't think the Stade Toulousian RU game helped either...was like a scene from Zulu seeing them all descend on the metro! I was ill throughout the trip at Easter so determined to more than make up for it next time around!

Not the Royal Wedding, just that I'm in Portugal.
Pleased at missing the wedding but couldn't bear to miss Toulouse and cant see the wife supporting a Faro to Toulouse flight for the weekend.

I believe the nearest airport with direct flights to the uk is Carcassonne - have a look and see where they fly to & from next year |

Depends when the fixture is. From about June onwards they have flights on a wednesday from manchester to toulouse. We'll probably do liverpool to carcassonne on the thursday.

I don't know where you're looking Tom as BMI Baby have a flight direct from Manchester to Toulouse on a Friday night (lands at 10pm French time) and fly back Sunday night (lands at 12am English time) - the price depends on the time of year.
The Friday & Sunday flights are operational all year round, with the Wednesday flights coming in during the summer (they don't seem to be operational at Easter, unlike for the Good Friday game).

Last season I paid 55 euros a night and there was no wine with breakfast are you able to recommend somewhere plus bon marche mon ami ? Pardon mon Francais s'il vous plait. I am not bothered about wine for breakfast either. |

yes,as I mentioned above look on the B & B hotels website - there are three in Toulouse with the nearest to the ground (Toulouse Centre) within walking distance - I think the site is www.hotel-bb.com we use them all the time when going down to the TO or Catalan games and usually get a room for anything from 37€ - 50€ - checkout the weekend prices (usually about 37 - 42€) - they are clean & tidy and great value with a buffet breakfast at about 5.50€ (no wine i'm afraid - you'll have to bring your own !) The other two B & B hotels are about 5 miles away one on the east side and one on the west side of the city so you will need a bus or taxi - book early to get the best deals |
