We had little money and due to injuries were short on players hence using the duals, don't like it but I can live with it, Spenno however feels like our player, he certainly plays like it, Wigans loss is our gain there, can't believe they don't seem to rate him.

Calling them former fans for starters, clearly they are fans who at the moment choose not to attend. The fact that they comment on here and clearly keep in touch with goings on shows to me that they are without doubt fans of the club.

Im a fan of Man City but have not supported them for over 30 yrs now because of the cost. Im a fan of England RU, England cricket and even GB athletics................not once have I ever supported them,

Yep, I do. It's a shame they are missing a very exciting time for Leigh because of the wiggin link but needs must and it's not the end of the world. .............I could very well have been though without it (and more importantly) our new and excellent BOM.
I don't think any Leyther would be happy to be linked to wiggin in any way but it is suiting us for now. Once it don't suit then hopefully we'll get shut..................but obviously keep Spenners

For all the Stayaways , the club has missed them no doubt , Charlie has not missed them ,or their Negative comments , I respect anybodys opinion , but WONT discuss a match with someone who doesn't attend .

Obviously folk like Vancouver , and Mapleleyther cant attend , but the others for me just look for reasons not to , the DC arrangement was like Manna from heaven to them , ate they Leigh Supporters ?NO .

I invite you to come and sit down at the club with us and see what it actually is your against and the reality behind it. Before I got involved I was dead against it but once I saw what it actually entails it became insignificant and has been a great benifit to our club this season.

The BOM will be reviewing the situation with Paul at some point no doubt as I've stated before but reality is a desicion will be made in the best intrests of Leigh Centurions on the whole and nothing else and not to try and win back what we believe is now a minority who are not coming solely because of DR.

Serious offer come and sit down and have a chat with us and see for yourself what the situation is.

Really is time to let this drop now and all move on together as great things are happening and it really isn't an issue in the wider scheme of things.

Get real we have to play the hand we're dealt and we can't up the stakes without the numbers in the ground.....By your logic if we we're a feeder club, which we're not, and filling the place you'd be a very lone voice in a big crowd.... You want things to change support the club, it's not as if your £16 quid goes anywhere but keeping our team alive.

9000 empty seats will you give your head a very big shake. In my time of watching Leyth the best average was in our League winning season of 81/82 about 5900.

J.I.C f# off negativity is not going to help is it??? We are in a situation that leigh rlfc is trying to become self efficient. The agreement with wigoon was to our benefit ad and when WE needed extra bodies. I agree that you require a medal or some kind of self appreciation, for your 7 who do not attend I have 4 young sons that want to support leigh with thanks to Simon ( Finnigan ) and Ryan ( brierley ) attending St. Peter's . These are the future fans who hopefully will let my future grandchildren invest there time and embrace the ethos leigh rugby league. Although I personally have struggled to attend as many matches as would of liked I AM A LEYTHER THROUGH AND THROUGH unfortunately I am not as rich as I would like to be but we now have a board of business men that have put funds in to entertain the mere mortal leigh fans. I bet you wanted rid of previous boards well my fellow Leyther buy into the new era and support these lads that turn out for a sport they love and to ENTERTAIN us. Comeback see the positives and open your eyes or heart to a new era.

As for the Neverending DCs agreement , for me it is a means to and end , Wigan are providing us with players ,PR chooses to use them ,as additions to our squad , we are NOT a feeder club never will be , get over it Jeff .

Our current BOD , are busting a gut to make the Club a Success , and encourage Supporters to come back , I cant fault them , the Matchday experience is improving every week , if someone makes a suggestion or has an idea it is looked at to see if it is feasible ,there are no secrets anymore , they are all open to speak to any Fans , what more can they do ?

I got accused of finding another reason next season for not attending if we get rid of twinning but yet again have stated our party of 7 have given up for the twining,you either believe your reason for not attending and back it or like most of our country run along like sheep

Andy there is no point for a sit down meeting as my views are clear which you all know,like someone said next year it will be scraped,so why not grab the headlines and state you have scrapped it???

The general response if you chat to people who do not attend is the farce that was franchise coupled with the twinning means its seen as a reserve league,like it or lump it that's the view,now the usual suspects will be on saying who the bar stool fools well the bar stools are getting fuller

Twinning like licenscing is finished at the end of this season. Good.
