you could be right matt,i do love away days Fax,Fev and barrow were outstanding days last season. unfortunately its £60 a chuck to do it right, and i'm trying to get a new venture up and running so that money would come in handy next year .

But have fax changed the way they do things or are they still just sitting back and hoping for the best, IE, if we keep playing well and winning trophies then they will eventually come back.

We always knew the pitch was to be re-done, but up to last Tuesday, assumed our wish to play on Sundays wasn't affected. That's why the Forum was told we would be playing on Sundays. (Premier Sports permitting)We had until the Thursday, to come up with alternative dates for the clashes. (i.e Tuesday to Thursday was the 48 hours I referred to)

You are right - s/t sales will probably be adversely affected - that was always going to happen, because prices were increased, for the first time in a number of years. I sympathise with fans who can't make Fridays. I also prefer Sundays, but am lucky enough to be able to make Fridays too. For the record, I detest travelling over the M62 in the evening, but I'll still be at the Shay on the Thursday evening, because it's always a cracking game.

As for taking my Leigh head off, no apologies there - it's Leigh's problem, and that's what is being discussed.

Not forgetting that the club did not increase the ST price in 2011 in line with the increase in VAT , only a small difference , but still there

Charlie will be buying a Season Ticket for next Season , for everyone else , you look at the Days and Dates , and Kick-off Times , if they are OK you buy your Season Ticket , if they are not OK , you dont buy one ,NO PROBS,same with the Bar prices and the Food prices , we all buy what suits us , i know i do .

But a more pleasant prospect than the one we faced just over a month ago!

Can Mr Poll set up a poll? Not on the Friday/Sunday stuff, but on how far away fans travel from. This could have a big impact depending on how many live away from Leyth. E.g. for someone 1hr+ away Friday night is not so easy to get to if you work until 6pm......if it is only a small percentage then no probs, but what if 20% live away?

I live 2 mile away, finish at noon on Fridays, but would still prefer Sunday's.

The touchdown club have just posted on the other thread that they wasnt aware of the Friday night games. Strange one that, given they were selling season tickets as part of their packages, there will be a valid explanation I would think though.
