Very true.But my point was we We marched on to 6 from 6 , clinching SL prior to and ultimately ending the season at Headingly 6 from 7.

They clinched SL 6 from 6, finished the competition 6 from 7 as Leeds was the last fixture.

Leigh are at a crossroads this week and its in other clubs hands. If it goes against you then Derek has said he cant fund it any longer, what next?

Derek might not go if we don't make the top 4, but I still think we'll see a number of outgoings and a reduced wage bill. Hopefully we can handle it better than Bradford did.

If London and Fax win this week, I'd expect players to be leaving ahead of the deadline.

I must admit, I'm not the best of predictors , and I think we won't make the Top 4, I really do hope I'm wrong, but I genuinely feel Derek won't walk ,whatever happens,he has an affinity with the Leigh fans, he let loyalty cloud his judgement on the Coaching job.

For me we must back Derek and the Club,we will finish on 32 points and it could easily happen for Toulouse and Fev to

Without the £500,000 central funding they got this year and Dereks large financial contribution, sadly I wouldn’t be suprised to see Leigh go into administration in 2019 due to their large unsustainable wage bill. I feel this is an all or nothing year.

Yes, they are a BIG club, with a large fan base (being in a big city helps). But the likes of Saints, Wigan, Warrington, Hull, & Castleford will never be in the middle 8's.

Yes Warrington will never finish outside the top 8, even though they did in 2017. Wigan also only avoided relegation by cheating the salary cap under a different playing structure. Who is it that know s0d all?

Even if the unthinkable happened and Leeds did end up in the million pound game (no chance, it will be Widnes v Salford) we’d be fine either way, Leeds owner Paul Caddick is a very rich man. If I was a Leigh fan the point I made above would be a genuine concern.
