This is a reply to Peter Kays news of Toronto signing SBW. from someone who is in New Zealand and sees ALL news on NRL and ALL BLACKS teams. Now put yourself in Sonnys shoes, do I stay in RU and play for the ALL BLACKS in the next world cup or sign for a choice of any NRL team that's waiting to sign me, or best of all sign for Toronto who might, might make super league. Its laughable. Anybody can say we made, or can make an offer on anyone, however insulting to the player, but we made an offer. Leigh fan my A**E.

That tackle in the NRL so early would have got ten minutes or put on report, ref for me ruined the game after 11minutes.

Oh it would be great no doubt and would have been a fantastic signing. Have no illusions, the Wolfpack has the ability to make big signings, money is not an issue. We will be top 4, and soooooon!

Noble has stated that he is being contacted all the time by the very top level players. Everyone wants in; it is a great honour to play here!

For players thinking of what to do after their playing days are over there are loads of opportunities here...that is why it was so sad seeing what happened to Moi Moi...he really blew it....sad.

Peter will not be going to Toronto. He is not moving his young family to Toronto.

I have no anger my dear...

Just negativity then....try to be more positive...I was in the deep bush this weekend (way back there in the backwoods country) and I forgot my dang repellant....had more mosquitoes on me than a yellow bellied sapsucker...look up at the sky and thought, "Well at least its not raining."

Gotta have a positive attitude RoyBoy....makes the day alot nicer.

Roy, he's not used to watching his team lose ! PLEASE let's see them promoted to OUR Super League, he won't be so cocky then. I know they should be playing in a Canadian league, but we are stuck with the mercenaries/barbarians for now. They bring nothing to our game, they are pointless. Hopefully they will do a PARIS ! There is no way this lot will be around in 10 years, never mind a 100 !
Maybe we could also have a Japanese team playing in OUR league, now that would be amazing.

Of course we are going to Super League...right to the top of Super League too! Might take a couple of years but we will get there...then we will win all of your trophies, plates, ribbons, etc and have a big parade in Toronto displaying all of the hardware...it will be like an old Roman Triumph! The Rugby Gods have already preordained it.
We are here to stay, we are never going to go away....we are in now and starting to take over.... and I like the idea of a Japanese team...that is a great idea! Hey, I'll tell Perez for you when I see him on the weekend at the sell out.

Just about every Canadian I know are humble, welcoming and really concerned about not wanting to seem like arrogant, condescending a##holes like some of our near neighbours. Are you really Canadian or are you just trying get people to hate the team you proclaim to support, ie not a Wolf Pack fan at all.
If you are however what you say you are, then pack it in before you give Canadians a bad name.

Peter is a very good player, and Necastle Knights were sad to see him go. His brother Seoni is playing well for them now as well. As you say canoeman money is no object for you guys to offer players because its obvious you have no salary cap to contend with like everyone else. Oh and by the way, you say plenty players queing up to come to Toronto, funny though theres nrl tv programmes on tv every night of the week and never a mention of ANY player showing any interest what so ever on joining you guys. That includes SBW.

We are always looking for talent, and no doubt we have the cash to get it. We are well within the salary cap, its just that we know how to use the money and leverage it...its a business thing...our owner is a very successful business person.
The players are there, the interest is there, the money is there. We don't prefer to negotiate in public though...we take privacy issues very seriously here at TWP and prefer to operate in a professional manner when it comes to these (and all) things...I think our numerous signing support my position.
The level and pace of growth is interesting.
