I've absolutely no reason to doubt what Martyn told me. He injured his foot at Salford, and then his back, in training. Perhaps treatment has worked and he is now fit?

For my money he has class, and will still have a part to play this season - and the sooner the better!

There's absolutely no chance of him ending up at Toronto, none at all. Personally I think, he will finally end up at Swinton.

I've always been a massive fan of Martyn but you'd have to say that in the SL games he's played for us this season, then no. However, if he goes well for Huddersfield over the next few weeks, he might get another season in SL. This next few weeks for him is massive, and could determine how the rest of his career goes.

Can't disagree with any of that, which means on reflection it is difficult to criticise the decision to loan him out. He's nothing to prove in the Championship, and needs games. The good thing is, there has been a decision made to give Hampshire and Drinkwater a run together in the halves. People can debate who should be in the team, but we need a settled side and Jukes needs to decide who his best team is.

His best team is in light training/not training..If you want a shot at top 8,then mid season recruitment is required.If not we'll see the best team again in the middle 8's. Recruitment sooner or later will still be required.
