Having seen the interview, I feel positive about the future. I for one do not want a single benefactor bankrolling the club again only to see it go tits up. A properly run community club/trust where fans have a stake in OUR CLUB is the way forward, and this new board structure is a good start. Well done to all concerned!

To me that reads that 8 investors have committed a total of £75k per year. If they were investing £75k each then why not state that they were investing a total of £600k per year.

It's a really strong and focused management team and the collective vision is to make Leigh Centurions the very best it can be.

I suppose the Boardroom for our Directors is like the changing room for a players. To look round and see the strength in numbers that we now have in every position fills me with confidence we can go out and deliver.

To employ this management team we now have in the Boardroom would cost over a million pounds per year so the 100k pa cash going in just lays the platform to set about executing the buisness plan, the real investment is professional services and time which will really move this club forward and create a community club we can all be part of and be proud of.

It's important we don't forget the great work done by everyone in the past but it's now time to look forward with ambition, Unite and take the first steps on the way to the promised land.

As a fan this excites me as a businessman ready to rise to the challenges this journey will bring.

Let's see if we can make it work, to do this we have to first become a business not a charity, volunteers like myself do a wonderful job but some jobs are for the professionals .

Ive said before the begging bowl has now gone.

We have professional buisness people at the helm now to manage each sector of the buisness to give guidance and support to all staff and volunteers and put the day to day structures in place to enable us to deliver.

Going forward we will be taking a product to people they will want to buy not just support as they feel duty bound to. Most important it will be an affordable product and value for money.

We have the remainder of the current season to max income streams currently in place but we will be building and planning for the future no idea will be dismissed and fans input is required as we now have a community and fan focussed commercial team with some really dynamic ideas for the future.

As John Roddy said in his CTV interview we do read the forums we do want to listen to our fans and we want to deliver a product now that fans want to be part of and will attract the wider community.

I want to see those kids in that stand again and initiatives to get fans of other clubs down here etc.

Yes indeed it will be , only worry is if this silly idea of the rfl the 3 rd option comes in can we make it into the second 8 if not were stuck in a bottom 8 with only relegation to avoid to play for ! Will we be ready to compete with fax Sheffield and fev for the 2 places as 6 will be current sl teams

Look at it this way. It's £75k-£100k/year that hasn't been going into the club in recent seasons. That stability will give the club the opportunity to build income streams.

What companies are the new members involved in, it would be good so we can support them that way as well.

Can we have an exact figure from the new investors please. Is it £1.8million pounds over three years??? I think you owe it to the supporters of Leigh RLFC to tell them the exact amount of physical money that you will all be investing into Leigh RLFC. I mean the exact total crispy notes that you will all be investing and what players we will be targeting with this £1.8million pounds of investment. What players will be getting from Super League, because that amount of investment surely means they will be SL or NRL players. I think you are all absolutely fantastic to be doing this for Leigh RLFC and my best wishes go with you. Brilliant Investors!!!!
