Frank , it is generally considered in the world of football that the Winners of the Champions league are the best club side in the world , so by definition you would consider the runners up in that competition ( especially as they have just won the hardest domestic league in the world by 9 points ) as the 2 nd best

Fantastic day out at Wembley, was there from around dinnertime. had alaugh with the Spanish fans, good banter all round. We can call FIFA as corrupt as we want, but they know how to put on a good show, pre-match entertainment was brilliant. Hope our catering team never makes the trip dowjn south, £6.90 for a chilli dog, or £9.90 with a drink, great 'meal deal' haha!!

Sadly whilst in the ground all we could do was look on in awe, as arguably the greatest team ever played us off the park.

Probably not the best £1000 I've ever spent on a single match ticket. I'd do it all again though tomorrow if I could.

Yeah, a thousand a ticket unfortunately, that was the going rate. I managed to pick up a pair for just under 2 grand, sold one on for £1000. The face value of the tickets were £80, so some people made a lot of money somewhere.

Actually it's 3 trophies from 5 finals in 22 years , and also having probably the most successful record in regards finishing positions over that time , not that it bothers me either way , just putting the record straight
