We all want to know what the Club's plans are for next season, but maybe an RFL statement on whether any Championship clubs will be allowed into the 'Promised Land' in 2015, has to come, before clubs can formulate strategies?

Also, I believe clubs had a deadline for offering similar, or better deals to players they wish to retain. Those players may still have time to make up their minds. So, perhaps the club does not yet know who is staying, or going?

I doubt players will be getting better deals... one of Leigh's "star" players has been offered a deal with his wages halved.

Gates of 2000 are achievable each home game if we're playing entertaining rugby. Anything more than that would be a bonus.

Like someone else said we're not particularly entertaining to watch but I'm sure Ian will be working to address that in the off season.

Sounds about right that Kev.............the 2 " biggest" ie most meaningful games of the season ( NRC S/F v Batley and the Play Off match v Sheffield ) attracted a combined crowd of less than 3,500 !

True both were Thursday night Sky games ( the Batley game was only £10 too ! ) but if it had been Quinns or Crusaders with those gates then I'm sure plenty would have been said on here ?

No easy answers and Leigh are one of the best supported clubs in this division but with sponsorship likely to be even harder to obtain throughout the game generally over the next few years the club and the sport need to introduce incentives both to get back lapsed fans and attract new ones........as well as keeping what we've got happy !
