Cant believe some people are saying PR was the worst coach....... Kelly signed the squad and started the rot - PR got us playing some good stuff and was starting to turn the team around........ it was too late for him to save us as the damage was already done when he took over.

Its opinions matey.....some have got our most successful coach in the last 15 years as the worst coach. All because he lacked the charisma of Tony Benson

Well having watched Leigh since being 7 years old, with the squads Abram and Benson had in the first years of this century I think I could have coached our side to Superleague. Paul Tersiz has been head and shoulders above the rest since Millward left and wether folk like it or not this season the team played a lot better with PR in charge as they did when Darren Sham was fired off.

The match at Barrow last season however well I,m glad I wasn,t coach that day.

As for the future I just hope mr Millward stops a little longer this time but I fear all we will see is one season out of him.

I predict a that he will leave us in exactly the same circumstances and head in same direction

it was also noticeable that, despite the torrential rain and winds, sheffield didn't drop a single ball ALL evening, their completion rate was flawless.

No disputing that, but I seriously doubt he'd have been allowed to maintain the same level of spending on the squad. That said, I didn't agree with his sacking at the time, but no point dwelling on it three years later.

We were 4th when NK moved upstairs. We were 3rd bottom after Rowley did his stuff.

The only time we've been relegated from the 2nd tier in the last 10 years = worst coach IMO.

Kelly also had a difficult period of the season to overcome. The great win at Widnes followed a few days later by us running out of petrol in 2nd half against Barrow. We then had the trip into the unknown at Toulouse. Can't remember who was in charge for the Fev away game, but that was played on Thursday......not an easy congested fixture list when you think about it.
