You like Hemmingway though?

Who? Marsden Giant?
Hemmingway`s Average at very best and thats been kind. Guess he can whoop it up in the giants second string or he may find his level at Champ 1.
Hes been on loan at 3 Champ teams now and although ive only seen him play once for Leigh, from speaking to Batley fans and seeing first hand at Fax, hes just not going to make it.
Some players step down and you can tell they will make it like Kopchack(SP), Flanagen, James, and some like T Coyle, Hemmingway you can tell wont.

| After watching Marsh at the reserves, i wouldnt want him playing 6. He cant pass at all. I would use him in the 2nd row, if we were to play him. I would put Durbin at 6.

Which of our prospective 6's can?
At least he's bigger than the rest and would take the opposition longer to run around him

| We have got to play the player who will be most effective at stand off imo. For me it would be Marsh and if he has a good game I,ll forgive him his last first team appearance.

| not sure about having Armitstead and Marsh playing together - hardly speed merchants are they?!
I would probably put Durbin at standoff and Marsh on the bench as he is a (relatively) versatile player..

| bit annoying that we lose such a key player just so that Huddersfield can field a weakened team - if they are seriously not d about losing why not just put the under 18s out?

His kicking game alone second half against Toulouse was brilliant. He's taken so much pressure off Watson... we needed him for the Gateshead game at least.

| We are playing on Don Valley mark2, its about 50m wide, average ball should be 2 yards with a short kicking game and plenty 40/20 attempts earl in the count, Marsh at 6.

I dont think Darren Lockyer could pull this one off for us! I hope our guys have practised their ball retention as I've never seen any team reap the ball as much as gatesOZ !

Spot on here, that spell in the 2nd half is something we must hit for 80 mins.
Tough through the middle and a great kick chase.

.
My thoughts exactly , what a confidence booster for the lad , he's being lined up like a Turkey looking forward to Christmas
If the Giants rated him and wanted some improvement then why recall him for one meaningless game and a good old ar$e kicking against a top Saints team ?
Skybet Saints - 28 . so a close game eh

| Re the betting thing. I have watched Saints about 3 times in the last 6 weeks I think they have been relatively average. Seems to me if Cunningham and Pryce have quiet games they have a quiet side.Still better than my team but not worth the money paid to their squad imo.
