I was wondering whether anyone who was at wembley would be interested in doing a recording from a speccie's view. I think it would be good to go alongside Alex's and we can talk about what they did on the day, getting there, the excitement, how it felt when we won, what they did after etc. I could go to their house or they could come to mine - anyone interested?

now ive listened to all seven volumes, and I'd just like to say Thank you very much mishmash I have enjoyed every single second of every single volume, and I know I'm not alone in this, now what are we going to do now ,once again many thanks

We will be doing some more in future, and we'll be covering '81. It won't be for a while yet but we will get round to it.

Just brought this back up as I wonder if anyone knows that Alex Murphy is guest speaker at the evening dinner of the 9s competition over at Fylde Rugby Club on July 11th.
Although the finals will be played at Bloomfield road on the 12th all the group and knock out stages will be at Fylde on the Saturday the 11th July.The Northern Rails 9s Celebration Dinner will be held at The Woodlands Memorial Ground in the Woodlands Suite on the Saturday evening
It is £35 per head or a table of 10 is £300 with Alex as guest speaker

As a Fax fan we booked a table and to make it a bit special we contacted an ex favourite player of the club (Mark Preston) and asked him to join us he kindly agreed. So it should be a good night.
