Harold,It's quite evident you have a problem with Jamie,so do the officials. Once again a yellow card SHOULD have been given to Gelling should it not ,Oh and Mc shane @ Cas should it not. Cut him some slack will ya,There are other's worse than him and nothing's done. Lockers swung his arms a few times as well. BTW - Did you see Joel Tomkins with his arm around Jamie's throat during that melee? And jamie didn't respond. I still think he needs to keep working on his silly antagonizing antics,but he is being treated harshly if you ask me.

To add a small piece of proportion Jamie Acton has significant abilities as a player, he is dynamic and adds a great deal to the team.
As he develops as a player he will cement international honours and the idea that he should be 'moved on' is premature.
He will become irreplaceable.

Cokey as you know I do respect your opinions but I am not interested in other teams players , what I do know is that the key to [ius[/i being successful this year is good discipline.

I will tell you something more , Harrison Hanson plays it hard and tough and he has been outstanding. You don't see him involved in silly antics putting the team under the cosh by needlessly conceding penalties or getting himself sin binned. The opposition still know he is on the field though as they feel everyone of his collisions. If Acton can put the team before himself he may make something of a player.

Harold, Our discipline around the ruck is poor,and we concede far too many penalties not clearing and holding down too long,that's not just Jamie,It's others as well,Hopkins come to mind especially at Wigan were it occurred about 4 times(Why don't you mention he's name?). Jamie just seems to be targeted all the time.You might not be interested in other teams players,but I am, when evaluating consistency from the officials. As far as Hansen goes,yes he does play it hard,but so does Jamie and others,but he seems to get targeted.I call it victimization. Iv'e already made it clear on here about his silly antagonizing antics, it's not necessary, and he should stop doing it,but he isn't being penalized for that though is he? You know what? I'm actually surprised no one has mentioned the high tackle from Hock,but then again we're just keeping our beady eyes on Jamie it seems.

Acton has a reputation as being a daft sod, rightly earned, so he will be targeted by the opposition; if he keep reacting he will still miss parts of a game and full games because of his uncontrolled stupidity. Defending him, on the basis that he has the potential to be a valued member of the team IF HE CAN SORT HIMSELF OUT, isn't credible. He has not shown any signs of smartening up and potential wins sod all.

He has been sin binned this year, however when he received his 11 match ban (in total) last year he was neither sent off nor sin binned

How many other players have received such treatment? his only bans are coming curtesy of the review panel, its only two weeks since he was in the Super League team of the week


He cost our team nothing on Friday and contributed a great deal


Why do our own fans keep criticising him when we should be asking what opponents are getting away with, blatantly too!
I watched O'Loughlin on Friday it amazes me, has he ever made a tackle below shoulder height? god help Jaimie if ever commits a tackle like O'Loughlin did last year and, he only received one match ban!
Why was McShane not sin binned for Cas? (later 1 match ban) and why was Gelling not binned on Friday? you know as well as I do Jaimie would have walked for both of those incidents! If there was no review panel Jaimie would never be cited!
Hounding him out of the club is scandalous, I'd like to sit in with this review panel when they view the games, I'm sure it would be very interesting!
If Jaimie did leave the club there would be plenty takers!!

Jamie Acton = Timmy Street 2.0. I think the best approach is to nurture him, let time do the maturing and accept that he may miss a few games per season. In attack this guy will run through a brick wall and he's got great leg drive to pick up those extra yards which many forwards don't have. And in defence he looks to hurt the opposition - in an accepted rugby league way, which can only benefit Leigh's points for.

He is of great value now.
It is clear that he divides opinion, mine is that players like him are vital in the development of our club
Others or other have a different opinion which is fine BUT you don't get many with the go forward aggression and size of Jamie

Agree, tbh aside from the odd mistimed tackle and the Wiganer kicking a ball back on the pitch (easiest sinbiining ever- admittedly Hicks didn't do that!)wasn't anything worthy of a disciplinary from Fri's game.

Mr dancing boy,now that you are challenging me to watch it again,I have,now can you elaborate what Mickey has done wrong? apart from like iv'e already said ,he pushes Clubb back onto the floor because he KICKS Mickey in the chest whilst he is trying to get up. BTW - It's 33 minutes on the LCTV clock.

My Hokey Cokey luv you can clearly see Mickey forcing Tony Clubs leg round that is why he gets the hump. He should have been penalised for retaliating but Mickey was no angel in the matter and season before last the RFL had a clamp down on players ping this type of thing.
