We need more Dick Jones or more people like you to get behind LISA/ Special Projects.

Ive thought long and hard about how LISA could posibly fit into a fan owned model and my first impressions are LISA needs to stand alone as a supporters organisation and social arm as it currently does. LISA would grow pro rata with the club/ fanbase again if things were sucessful. Not all fans will be able to afford shares or ownership schemes so LISA will always provide fans with an avenue to contribute and also get involved in the social aspects that LSV fails to provide.

Your organisation would need to be treated as a board director and fully party to all board actions with the due respect it fully deserves and aquire shares for its financial imput at properly agreed rates.

I have said it often in the past , if we had another 6 Lyndas , the club would be a good position , her input is so valuable , the work she does for our club is immense , yet some still have a go at her ive seen first hand the Time and Effort she puts in , i would have thought everyone on this Forum wants the same thing a successful Leigh Centurions , lets unite and make it Successful .

We all want what's best for our club,I do what I do because I love club for no personal gain.
I wouldn't have it any other way,
LISA will be attending hhis weeks Board meeting so our input is there, I will sort out our next meeting this week and then we can look into other things we could possibly do.

At the Fans Forum before the season started Keith Freer announced the clubs budget was based on an average gate of 1700. He had also taken into account our expected share of the gate for the Salford friendly but of course that did not happen.

Our friendly against Swinton cost the club money because of the very bad weather on the night and the club had to turn on the undersoil heating and there is no doubt of course that at all our home games this season the weather has been bitterly cold.

The Wigan npartnership announcement which imo did not need to have been made cost us some fans who'again imo' have read something into that agreement which is actually not there.

Well that is my take on it.

Frank lets stop Dredging up the old problems we know have been there , hopefully when the revenue for the Wigan game comes in , and an increase in crowds due to better weather and improved performances and results ,we will be in a better position , i have another Fundraiser planned before the end of the season .

My own view had someone asked what our average gate would be before the season started I would have said 1800ish.

I doubt Mr Freer has a crystal ball quite frankly and when he was asked about the Budget at that Fans Forum I talked about no person objected no doubt because they did not have a crystal ball either.

Do the shareholders of Vodaphone, BP or Standard Chartered pay money in to keep those buisnesses operating on a monthly basis as is being suggested here? , because if they did, they might take a lot more interest in how they are run and who runs them

How does that impact on that persons right to vote to elect a board, or call an EGM or attend an AGM or receive a copy of the annual accounts?

The point being that generally a real business gives money the shareholders, not the other way round, so ' normal ' rules dont apply

All I did was state the statutory rights of a shareholder in a company.

Whether or not that company makes a profit or not has no impact on the shareholders' rights.

No I didn't miss relevance - unlike most on here I gave a straightforward answer to a query - "what would shareholders vote on?".

I did not attempt to spin it, justify anything, criticise anyone or make it "relevant" - I just set out the facts. That is what I do for a living.

Sporting Club Leigh being continually financed by its shareholders would be a ' Company ' in name only, a more relevant comparison would be with a charity, as that is what is being proposed
