At last, another 'Luddite' who appears to think the same way as I do.A good few of the contributors on here, are of the opinion we should have just "enjoyed the ride" in 2016 and 2017. (and that's fine, if they enjoyed it) Having experienced, at close quarters, a couple of the 'bust' spells, I'm not enjoying yet another one of those. I guess I'm a cautious person at heart, but give me steady growth, any time!

Well Alan,I'm with you Grahams (Wysi)post was a vertical good one,I agree one season in SL is not worth around 5 years in the Wilderness,no doubt DB has brought the Club to its knees,where we go from here is anybody guess,I'm very worried no players signed of yet and not sure any on the Horizon, and our Coach linked with Widnes.

As Wysi said Mo and the other Spin Doctor can bang the drum all they want,the Fans need some concrete news , Christmas on the horizon and what about replica kits and Season tickets??Even Mystic Meg can't give any solutions.
Again Alan as you say these are only our opinions ,but I know a fair few Fans are thinking on the same lines.When I asked at my Bookies what price Leigh for finishing in the top 4 of the Championship next season,he asked what was I smoking?

Monty, I always respect and read your posts with interest, and whilst I don't expect you to name any names of players, my question is ,Are we at present talking to players and discussing contracts?Or is it just wishful thinking on Fans part?

We are trying to sign players or DB is but you have to look at it as the players point of view there no coaches in place the future of the club is still under threat so why would you commit if we can’t get players from Swinton to come to us it’s a sorry state of affairs as we all know already. Look at it as a coach coming in point of view he going to inherit a team of some sort and expected to work a miracle with it so if your a coach and approached to do the job you would say no to. I think there will be some news in the next week either way from what I can gather I know a local businessman as put a business plan together and is waiting for the outcome of DB

Pot & kettle and all that! Bongser uses third person singular as a conceit (inviting it there he knows), but your use of the plural is quite TELLING!

Don't bother mis-typing that you were referring to the board, the director of rugby, the coaching team or any other body - J, you have as little idea what's going on or who THEY are as do the most of us.

You need to get quicker at switching accounts as well. Just a thought. HAVE IT!

No players in place yet cause there no stability of the club you would be stupid to sign for us at this current moment. We will end up with a team of players from the NCL at this rate

And how many will be willing to pay £20 for that privaledge?
I alternate between the Miners and East whoever is at home or if they clash whichever I consider the most interesting, admission for £2, I can get a pint for 2 1/2 quid instead of 3 1/2 and a pie for around 1 quid instead of 2 1/2 quid, happy days.
The point is whatever happens at the LSV I will still be involved in Rugby League Football, sadly I think a lot will be lost to the game, never to return, FOREVER.

And that, I think, is the root of my unhappiness/frustration. I don't know how many of our core crowd are committed to attending, come what may. But I'm sure that many season ticket holders will give it a miss, and as for the so-called 'fair weather fans'..............

Obviously, the current financial plight and fall from grace, are a huge turn off for many, but I'm pretty certain that the failure/refusal to engage with the customer support base will also cost us dear.
