Probably wont matter as long as we beat Sheffield on Sunday we should make the top 4, lose and our season is just about over.

Great result for the Mighty Leythers , I take nowt for granted though,still a long way to go but Leigh are back in driving seat,with Fev coming back into the top 4 ,I rate Fev and think they will give us a game at the LSV ,but it's looking like the Bradford game will decide who finishes top.

Don' think we're a one man team, but Gaskell is certainly massively important to us. At the moment we're missing our 1,6,7 and our hooker is absolutely shot to pieces due to our coach playing him for 80 minutes every single game this year. Take 1,6,7 out of any team and they'll struggle . We had a centre and LF at half back today.

That being said we have performed very poorly for about a month now and we look fatigued. The above is an excuse for looking scrappy, but we just look so poor right now. Jimmy hasn't rotated and now we're looking tired. Honestly, you could put 50 past us when you come to Odsal.

Get rid of Lowes and promote Harrison, that will fix things.

I'd be more worried about the quick turnaround required for Hunslet nevermind Sheffield.From what your saying you could really be struggling before the Leigh game. And also it doesn't end there with you having to go to Fax after that.

Both Fev and Fax playing well at the mo' ... I've always said that the battle for 4th will be the most interesting this season. And if Sheffield miss out altogether that will be quite amusing.

After Fev's win last night its the first time I have thought that Fax might not make the top 4. I then looked at the league table and whichever 2 teams dont make the top 4 are going to be streets ahead of the other teams in the championship 8's as they keep the points. That competition will be a waste of time as the top 2 are nailed on for the final. So you either have the fun of helping or hindering teams getting promoted or relegated or tread water in the middle 8's.

The problem for Bradford and Leigh is that both are more than capable of losing to any of 4 teams that make up the top 4 out of that group where as its unlikely the SL clubs will.

But then again on the flip side, Leigh are probably the only team capable of beating any of SL teams.

Which is why it's important to finish top. While I don't see the 3rd / 4th place Championship teams being whipping boys in the play offs, the odds are that the 4v5 play off will involve 2 out of Leigh, Bradford and Wakefield. Finishing top gives you home games against the other two which will be must win games. Plus, if Fev were to finish 4th, probably better to play them at POR, when you look at the home / away records.

Good news for us, though I think we'll win at Odsal anyway so it wouldn't have mattered, looks better for us to be clear at the top though. Means the Fev game will no doubt be very tough now though, hopefully we'll get a strong ref to keep it a good game and don't let Fev spoil it like they did in Blackpool.

As regards the future, according to the Bradford website, they are in the middle of a major wobble, and I think we can afford to lose another match due to our superior points difference. The fight for 3rd and 4th is going to be really tight and may take some gas out of the tank for those teams come the middle 8's, but you are right, could be Fev and Fax.

I'm sure Sheens will improve things but how quickly can he do it. Marwan quoted as saying that he is looking for a long term deal with Sheens but it is a short term contract for now. Watch your back Mr Sheens

not saying we will do owt in the middle eight but if we make them it means we have played our way in at the right time and were on a roll. defo would rather be in our place than Bradford who will ahve sleep walked ino the middle eight.

The top 4 get the spoils for 2016, so by finishing 3/4 Fev/Fax would get at least £550/500k after the eights are finished which allows both clubs to go FT for 2016 if they wish - just keep Sheffield out please
