Every club is approached by agents at this time of year, a coach ferom a next season championship club was telling our Dave that he had been offered something like 8 Leigh players and a similiar amount of Halifax ones.

He's been rubbish for 2 years now. Think they may be in for a shock if they are expecting big things from him. Hasn't seemed bothered at all whenever i've seen him play recently, NEVER takes on the line anymore either when he's played us.

Swinton have been promoted, they will be linked to everyone at present.
I understand they may be moving back into Swinton in the next couple of years, 6/7000 new ground. If so then that attracts local interest and money, remember the £ goes a long way if spent wisely and 6/7 local folk putting a couple of grand a month in creates a full cap to spend when topping up other income.

5,000 capacity stadium, costing £3.5m, due to start work on it in early January 2012, expecting to have it complete before the end of April 2012?!
