Maden is secure,no one is going to take his place unless he's injured or needs to go to centre.

Pownall and Maden have been playing really well so they've earned their place in the team. But if we run into injuries in the backs it's nice to have two wingers of Clay and McGilvrays quality to back up.

Pownall is a Fullback and Maden played well in the centres pre season, it's a long time since we had 4 good wings.

Why oh why do some still insist on bagging our own players in public some of you really do need to revisit the dictionary and look up the words supporter and fan (fanatic).

Fred everyone has a right to critisise any player who is under performing or has a bad game. So long as it isn't rude, abusive or down right ridiculous. We all pay our money to see it and so long as there are no rules broken then I personally think it does no harm. If a player reads these comments he should know by the content who knows what they are talking about and can cherry pick the constructive ones. Personally if I was a coach and had a player who thought he was the bees knees but was playing bad, I would tell him to read what the fans were saying about him. Then again I am not and have never been a coach. Never been a fan of wrapping people up in cotton wool. It's a tough unfeeling world out there and people need to be hardened to it. I have to say that putting a coment on here is no where near as bad as booing your team off the field. I can't get my head around that.

Well this is not the official board and if people pay their money to watch our players why shouldn't they be entitled to their opinions about how a particular playing is performing.

Last Saturday evening I asked Paul Rowley did he read this forum and he said no way would he and has advised our players not too as well and interestingly had also advised players not to read facebook either concerning our games.

The coach should look into helping Clay become a 9. Chunky, quick and elusive player that has all the ingredients. Sharpen up his defence and passing, and there you go.

No one is saying you are not entitled to your opinion Fred we are just disagreeing and like I said putting your opinion on hear is no where near as bad as booing your team off the park.
