When have we ever scored 60-80 points against a competitive Whitehaven. Cumbrian sides are tough and play with pride and never lay down to anyone.

Joking? 31st January 2001. Neil Turley 6 tries leigh 70 v 0 Workington. (Might not be haven but cut from the same cloth!) Although the record equaling 6th try was a bit of a farce as the Captain of the time ( a wiganer) was very generous in gifting Turley his final try under the sticks at the Chadwick end as I recall.we've done it before against Cumbrian teams why not now?
